Lol. Hey you don’t have to apologize. Zero judgement from me. My horny brain dictates so much of what I write (I think like 20 of my 25 total fics are explicit). It’s genuinely a fight within myself sometimes to write what feels true inside if just smooshing my imaginary dolls together in fun ways. I’m really glad you enjoyed the fic! That’s what matters most to me. :)

Also, I sort of enjoy when stories don’t treat sex like it has to be an equal exchange of orgasms. It feels more true to life to say that intimacy can be fun and rewarding even if not everybody gets off right now. And I have full confidence that Spencer’s not complaining and will definitely get his sometime soon. Lol

Omg thank you so much! It feels like it’s been a while since I wrote Spemanda (*checks and realizes it’s only been three months 😆) I definitely have fun writing that pairing. I’m hoping that whenever the next RE videos drop it’ll give me some fuel to write more of them again!

Boy do I! Lol. During Covid I decided to cut open a lemon from the grocery store and see if I could grow a lemon tree from the seeds and it actually worked! So then I built a raised bed in my backyard a few years ago and I’ve been slowly learning about how to grow fruits and vegetables ever since. When I started, a buddy of mine who’s an amazing gardener gave me a lot of cool starter plants, ground cherries and purple long beans and a fig tree and a passion fruit plant. But I’ve also grown carrots, tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, cucumbers, lettuce, squash. All kinds of things. This year is shaping up to be the year of the blackberry which I’m super excited about. Not everything grows perfectly, I’m kind of experimental with what I grow each year and how I do it. I find that there’s something magical and comforting in just allowing nature to take its course and seeing what can grow with minimal human interference. It removes the stress of feeling like you wasted the seeds or the plants if they die, because even if one thing fails to grow, it’s typically so that another thing can thrive in its place. And at the end of the day, what it really accomplishes is giving me a kick in the butt to get outside every day and literally touch grass.

And for anyone who’s interested, there’s a tumblr page called polyamships that shares fics/art and runs events that are open to any fandom with the goal of promoting healthy depictions of poly relationships. :)

I’m also giggling at your thought. It makes me super proud of myself whenever I can take a sort of crack premise and shape it into something believable. I’ve always been a big fan of sci-fi/mystery books in particular, but I think regardless of the genre, that’s kind of what fiction is. It’s about throwing characters into literally any situation and still making it feel relatable because the characters themselves are grounded in reality. Readers can look at a story and think “oh that’s how I would react in that situation” even if the situation is literally impossible. So thank you for the sweet compliment. I hope I can keep writing insane relatable things.
