i think part of growing up and moving away from being so deeply embedded in The Internet is the freeing realization that it’s so much nicer to stop framing the way you present yourself and your space etc as a particular aesthetic with a name/set of attributes like ….. the best way to curate your life, materially and otherwise, is to pick things you like that speak to you here and there without too much concern for how it fits into the whole because! at the end of the day your taste is your taste and you are you! and a collection of disparate and perhaps slightly mismatched but genuinely loved things is infinitely lovelier and more interesting and more charming than trying to fit into a box
