every time someone says bush was smarter or a better politician or more respectable than trump i lose my mind. it feels like everyone collectively blocked bushisms from their memory

the replies to this post are driving me INSANE how can so many people miss the point so bad. “yeah bush was terrible but trump cant even meet the bar set by bush!!” they are THE SAME BAR. THE SAME. the only reason you think bush was better is because of the distance of time and/or the fact that you/your family was privileged enough not to feel even the ripples of the horrors bush inflicted domestically and internationally. you are looking for the easy way out by pretending that the single man currently in office is the cause of the current situation and that things will be “normal” again if he’s voted out. what will you do if he’s voted out? people will still be dying at the hands of white supremacists, or of hypothermia because theyre unhoused, or of treatable diseases because they cant afford medicine. will you actually do anything to help them or will you go back to ‘normal’ life because at least the Cheeto Man is out of office? and what will you do if he’s not voted out? will you actually do something to help people then or will you blame the people who are suffering the most for not voting hard enough? surely the next election will be different

These two are singing “O magnum mysterium” by Tomas Luis De Victoria! It’s a very pretty piece from the renaissance that has a lot of different voice parts singing totally different melodies that mesh well together. I sung tenor for a song of his as well. It sounds ethereal in cathedrals and bathrooms alike my opinion. Its the room’s ability to bounce sound and make it resonate, giving it it’s “mermaid siren” like quality. It sounds great. Congratulations, you both! Sounds very pretty and seems like a fun time to clean with things like that.
