You might assume I eat salads all the time, considering my plant based enthusiasm. Truth be told, I find it hard to fit in greens everyday too. However, with all the evidence proving unprocessed food is medicine, I often wonder why it's so hard to incorporate into my daily diet. The first time in my life where I ate a heroic amount of veggies was when I lived & worked on an organic farm. Every meal was sprinkled with freshly picked treats. Every day, every meal. I think we would all eat more if we grew more food. I am making it a priority to grow food next year. This is a true story of a classic poop #fail... Once upon a time a special someone on Salt Spring Island cared enough to scoop a pup's poop, tie it in a neat little knot, and gently place it beside the walking path. Obviously they didnt want anybody to step on it. #facepalm I really dont get the point of putting something 100% biodegradable into a plastic bag. I've been entertaining the idea of completing a DIY horror film late summer. This could be one of the opening scenes... I'm thinking black and white silent film style; sea monsters vs humans vs pollution. A metaphorical expression of sorts. A cheeky activist horror film with lots of fake blood and guts.... The plot would try to answer the following questions: How do the creatures of the ocean feel about their brethren humans? What emotions would they express back at us to explain how they feel? If swamp thing's salt water cousin were to reflect onto us what we do to their habitat, using ocean garbage as murder weapons, how would those scenes unfold? I'm open to suggestions...
