How can practically everyone in Formula 1, the organization, the FIA, be so racist? Even in football, sometimes, the organization and fans unite against racist attacks. Situations and veiled acts are pointed out, dissatisfaction is declared, and what is happening becomes explicit. But not in Formula 1. I started following this year, supporting Hamilton about 3 months ago, and every week there's a veiled or clearly racist act happening, but nothing is done. Lewis is tired, he shows it in his demeanor. And nobody steps up, shows how it shouldn't happen. Out of fear? Of what? It's not a political stance to show dissatisfaction against clear, objective acts against a specific driver. Against pure racism. How can a sport that is celebrating 75 years be this way? How can the team hire a man with everything he could achieve in the sport and treat him with such disdain, but treat their other driver differently, certainly doing everything to prevent penalties from happening? It doesn't make sense. Why hire him then? And they still act (because there must certainly be some kind of behavior that demonstrates this) in a way that makes Hamilton apologize for something THEY should be doing their part in. Really, Hamilton has endured so much in all these years (which I discovered is NORMAL). I know that besides liking to win, he does it to show that that's his place, that nothing will shake him (although we know it HURTS), and to inspire young people and people in general that we are not alone, that we can achieve what we want even when there are those who want to destabilize us. Unfortunately, when he retires there will be people celebrating, or whatever else, with a disgusting wave of attacks. In fact, when he no longer drives, this sport will lose its meaning. Why watch something so ugly? Well, at least they won't be able to erase his influence and relevance on and off the track, in the history of this sport, and these people will have to live with that.
