There, it is paramount that the inhabitants adapt to its unique conditions. Where the southern hemisphere coastlines are misty and chilly without ever truly reaching freezing temps, and the ocean waves slap against the jagged rocks. Roughly the size of Madagascar in the shape of Japan, this island bred a generation of seafarers and voyagers spiritually tied to the ocean.
