The 4th Unwritten Land: Think about peak pandemic time.. You are in lockdown, which bed are you choosing? LMAO That’s the idea of my waiting room! its an apartment with different types of bedrooms and landscapes, based on those peak videos from pandemic because there’s just something so soothing about them, it makes me feel so nostalgic and comfortable in a way that I wanted to imitate it in a dr! It might also be that I long for a place where all that I do is sleep but anyways

What bedrooms does the Half Nights Waiting Room offer? I’ll show you around

buckle up cause the apartment is BIG:

First of all: The Living room and kitchen

(I couldn’t find a picture of the living room that represented what I wanted entirely 💔)

This is part of the normal apartment, there’s a view to a city (which city? I guess we’ll never find out). The only door outside is to the fire escape, but I never use it, and if I order something to eat, it’ll be left outside for me to pick up. The hours are from 4pm to 2am in this apartment (as you can assume, I don’t like mornings lmao). There’s not much to it, a kitchen, a common living room, and such things as clothes or bathrooms are in each room, as well as a vinyls + record player with themed music of my choosing per room

In general, the beds of the rooms have the comfiest blankets, pillows and mattresses, while also it is always cold enough to use a blanket because I love sleeping in blankets lol, they also count with a lot of pillows and 10000% guarantee of sleeping (and without pain lol, my chronic back pain is not coming to this sorry not sorry). Let's get started on the 11 (yes you read it right) rooms the Half Nights WR has to offer!

(Also I didn’t get creative on the names cause genuinely I didn’t know what to name them.. anyways)

The Beach Room

Sound familiar? Not the one in my East Coast dr! this one’s smaller, less aesthetic and more focused on sleeping lmao, as we said, this wr’s purpose is me sleeping, so this is falling asleep with a view to the eternal blue and the natural sound of the waves

Music? Elizabeth Cape ep by Noah Kahan, Makeout City, Beach Vacation, Current Joys, and “Folklore” by Taylor Swift

The Meadow Room

There’s two parts to this one, the room next to a meadow, and then when you open the window/door, you have a bed in the middle of the meadow (in which I did script that no bug was gonna bother/harm me, I’m a little scared that’s all 😅), you can see some bunnies and deer from time to time, if you wanna feed them, there’s a drawer in the room for food for them! There’s also lavender lemonade and a lot of tea for me

The Sunset Room

In this room, it is eternally sunset as the name says. I don’t sleep much in this one, I do more scrapbooking, putting music, watching something or paint! There’s also either tea or iced coffee available at all times

Music: nothing specific, I normally put anything since I’m awake

The After-Sunset Room:

A room that’s always on the aftermath of a sunset, from pink to purple, this is my second favorite room because it makes me feel nostalgic,

The Blue Room:

it is always blue hour here, deep blue covers the sky. My favorite room because to me blue hour is not only the most nostalgic hour but is also the one that gives me an urge to sleep lmao

The Purple Room:

This one seconds the blue one, these two rooms are the ones that I'd visit the most, idk, there's something about them. You might want to ask, isn't this the same as the after sunset one? Nope because there's no pink in this one in the sky, it's just purple AND it is misty

The Rainy Room

In this room, it is always light raining, not thunderstorm, just light rain. With a natural sound of rain and big windows, I fall asleep instantly lol

Music: I have a playlist for this one, it includes instrumental Fine Line and some songs by Gibran Alcocer, Duster, and Bon Iver among others

The Thunder Room

Now, this is the one with the thunderstorm, and also the one I visit the less 😅, I like thunderstorms for sleeping but not always 😭

no music for this one, just rain (or maybe movie instrumentals, I listen to those a lot)

The NYC room

Based on a NYC apartment in the night in a very high apartment, higher than any around it. Aka if any room could fit into the vibe of what the living room and the kitchen is, this would be the one

This one also doesn’t have any specific music

The Forest Room

A room in the middle of a mountain in the woods, sound familiar? Yeah, it’s like my Whispering Pines room, but here I’m just sleeping, also the rooms look different 🙂‍↕️

The Cabin Room

A room in a cabin at night, this one has the biggest bed out of all of the rooms just cause 😛(it's the two-beds-in-both-pics-combined kind of long), there’s a fireplace and freshly baked cinammon rolls on the table

So there it is! this is my waiting room! It might genuinely be that I'm just craving sleeping without any burden but anyways, this took me too long to put together (i get lazy on scripting big stuff, and doing 11 rooms + description of the living room was crazy)
