A very nostalgic doodle for today!!! One of my favorite memories as a kid was when my mom used to do my hair in the morning while the TV was on! I like to think Bucky would put on Little Bear or something when he does mine! He'd probably find it soothing hehe ^^ 🩷🩷🩷

ੈ✩‧₊˚ Regressor!Katniss headcanons

{ notes- safe to say these are my favourite headcanons yet !! includes mentions of food insecurity and potential undereating, guilt surrounding food. }

🏹 . . . Katniss regresses anywhere from 3-8, normally at the older end, though her actions aren’t always age accurate due to her having to act older than she was and mature faster.

🍞. . . Her main caregiver is Haymitch, Effie adores little Katniss so is happy to spend time with her (though sometimes she can overwhelm her), Peeta sometimes, though he’s more of a playmate. Finnick is also a good caregiver for her.

🌲 . . . Loves looking after and helping out with the younger regressors, her big sister instincts are still so strong so is always helping out a regressed Peeta, or Annie.

🌱. . . She loves going outside when regressed, will beg whoever’s taking care of her to take her on walks or to let her play in the yard.

🧸 . . . Will collect flowers and point out plants and animals and tell her caregiver facts about them, will let Effie weave flowers she’s collected into her braids!

🏹 . . . adores district 4 when she’s regressed, loves spending time with Finnick and Annie, and getting to go to the beach and swim is something she adores.

🍞 . . . When she’s little she panics a lot about food, her caregiver will have to dish up her plate for her if they want her to get a good enough portion size else she takes too little, due to feeling like she has to give others more food.

🌲 . . . Can get grumpy because her gross motor skills can get worse when regressed, meaning she can’t do her hair herself, Finnick is the best at doing braids, Haymitch’s braiding skills are shaky, Effie is the best but often tries doing something more extravagant than just one braid, but she can get upset with anyone else having to do it cos it embarrasses her.

🌱 . . . Tries her best to be independent and do everything on her own, but once she’s alone with a caregiver she loves to be babied and having things done for her, though if anyone asks or sees her she gets embarrassed and snappy.

🧸 . . . Secretly loves being held (especially by haymitch) and fed a bottle, it helps her caregiver know she’s having some extra nutrients, but helps her feel close and get extra affection

🏹 . . . Katniss tries her best to be kind, she really does, but she also cannot for the life of her think before she speaks, is very blunt.

🍞 . . . “Finnick why does Johanna keep giving you an angry face?” - Johanna was secretly mad at Finnick and was waiting for him to notice on his own, Katniss took away her dramatics.

🌲 . . . even if she has an older headspace, she is a thumb-sucker when she’s sleepy. Prefers a thumb over a pacifier, but also knows her teeth will thank her so will use one when asked.

🌱 . . . Adores Haymitch’s geese, they don’t like her one bit however, and every-time one honks at her she threatens to eat it (she would never).
