🪚 ┊ John would be 100% a grandpa caregiver. And he treats his little like his own grandkid.

🪚 ┊ John believes in a sharp mind. he encourages his little ones to do specific puzzles, and also encourages his littles to play with puzzles, Rubik's cubes, and etc. although, if his little is too young for that, he can adjust quickly to that.

🪚 ┊ due to his.. "hobby" during the day, he doesn't tell his little what he does throughout the day while he is working. However, he isn't shy to show off his own trap ideas. He spares out the gory and bloody details, instead, making it sound like an evil cartoon villain thing. He will show off his rough sketches of his traps in progress, and give a cartoonish example of how they would work.

🪚 ┊ sometimes John can be a bit overbearing, or sometimes would accidentally slip up with a horrifying detail that you shouldn't have known in your regressed state. Example, accidentally spilling information about a victim of his. But he would quickly play it off, pretending like it was an upcoming character for a story he was making.

🪚 ┊ he isn't the type of caregiver to baby you, he is more Stern in that category. He cuts his little some slack, knowing sometimes accidents happen and whatnot. But he isn't a babyer, and he believes small punishments such as sitting in a chair for 15 minutes gives you enough time to think about your wrongdoings if you were to ever get in trouble.

🪚 ┊ he protects you with his life. He doesn't show it, and he doesn't seem like the type to do so. But oh trust me, he protected you in ways he couldn't tell someone mentally as young as you about. He is shown to be a very calm, reserved and somewhat strict caregiver, but secretly, wouldn't be afraid to make someone go through the worst torture if they decided to hurt you.

🪚 ┊ he made a nursery for you at some point. If you don't regress around newborn to toddler age, instead of a nursery, he would build you a playroom. With toys, movies that you like, your gear like bottles, pacis and plushies.

🪚 ┊ if you do tea parties, yes he is your number one fan when it comes to tea parties. You could dress him up as anything you'd like, and he will participate in a small tea party with you.

🪚 ┊ when he is away for work, he makes sure you have everything in the house that you need. He is always a few nights step ahead, and if he knows he will be out for a night, he will do much preparation. You will never be told last minute, he will make sure that you are mentally prepared to be by yourself for one night.

During that time span, he sets up cameras, maybe gets a TRUSTED friend to drop in or babysit, and would also set up baby monitors. Dropping in very occasionally, to remind you to eat, when to pick up your toys, and when to go to bed.

🪚 ┊ if for whatever reason, you are little and are unable to get to him, he has a personalized tape recorder for you. It is small, but to the point. It has a few lines such as him telling you that he loves you, or small reminders like selfcare, or etc.

🪚 ┊ his favorite pet name for you are "kiddo" "little own" and "bud". Although he is very open to calling you anything specific.

Do not be afraid to draw characters that have beards, scars, body hair, and are over 6 ft tall (etc) as regressors!!

See that man that has a full beard? REGRESSOR.

See that man that has a lot of leg hair? REGRESSOR. 🪄

See that man that's over 6 ft / is a giant? REGRESSOR ✨

Oh? This character could have a wife and kids? Hmmm.. REGRESSOR ✨✨🪄

Don't be afraid to add the details people! Details details details!

Just because you're an age regressor, doesn't mean that the "adult traits" disappear!

And if you're an artist that does add that to a character if it's canon to them, you earn a golden star in my book ⭐

I love the idea of an AU where Chucky is protective of Andy and takes care of him kinda like how the original script was supposed to be .
