you guys are getting sleep?

(walks in multiple months late to the party) hey guys whats cookin.

So for a SOTW way back when, I totes accidentally designed outfits for LAES 2.0 characters when the SOTW theme was Outfits for LAES 1.0, I misread the prompt. HOWEVER! I still really like these outfits and wanted to draw them. Then like everything happened on all shows and this got lost in WIP hell.

There was a point in May where all the shows were pretty chill and I was like "damn I have nothing to draw," so I made a bunch of WIPS to complete throughout the weeks. The plot picked back up shortly after I did that I have yet to recover, I've GOTTA stop doing that the same thing happened in Feburary (/silly)

DJ is wearing a festival-fashion inspired cybergoth outfit, Earth is dressed in a frilly jumpsuit (I was originally theming her around cottagecore, but I think that fits Terra better and gave her a more coquette fit), and Folly is wearing a grunge style. I accidentally drew DJ with just two arms in the ref I am embarrassed of my shortcomings UmU (/silly) I DID draw her with 4 arms in the main image tho.

Earth looks nice in red to me because it balances out the amount of green and blue in her design when compared to her rainbow bow, which is why the secondary colour in her outfit is yellow.

I have different design philosophies when it comes to Terra and Earth. Earth is peppier, more energetic, and generally headstrong, so I use more vibrant colours for her and give her girlish fashion. Terra, on the other hand, tends to be more mellow and mature, so she gets muted blues, cool tones, and more cottagecore looks :> I also think Earth would wear cottagecore at times, but probably something with a lot more mobility and vivid colour than what Terra would usually wear. I love trying to convey a characters vibe through fashion choices, so I’m pretty happy with how all of these turned out !! ^^

Can I say how much I love this guy? Can I also, in the same breath, say how much the fact that his name is spelled "Carme" and not "Carmie" bothers me?

Of course, only after this man gets the therapy he needs and stops being afraid of existing :)
