These are the shows I draw for, as these are the ones I have an interest in ^^ (I specified LAES 2.0 because I didn’t actually watch LAES 1.0 after the astral plotline started. Apologies if I’m unaware of important lore there!) EAPS stuff is usually also included in the TSAMS tag cause of Eclipse! (he will always primarily be a TSAMS character in my heart)

Intro:

Hello! I’m Merle (my username pronounced Merle (like in the name Merlin) - The - Earl), and I’ve been an on-and-off fan of TSAMS since 2023! I didn’t really make any serious fanart until recently, but hey! Better late than never! XP So I decided to make a TSBS-centric side blog to post it ^^

(Because of this, my knowledge of some eras of the channels (particularly early eras) are better than others. I’m trying to catch up on the lore right now, though!)

Usually my TSAMS interest comes and goes and this isn’t my main (that would be @linneaarie !), so I may go inactive for long stretches of time in the future. However, I always end up coming back eventually. I hope to make as much art as I can before then ! >:)

I wanted to do some others for this SOTW, but I've been travelling this week so unfortunately I only had time for a quick Rosie piece XP Still, I had a lot of fun coming up with her powers and design ! :D I think I got something pretty fitting for her (while also not being too overpowered).

Rosie's superpower is the ability to absorb the power of hits against her and store it to make herself stronger. In summary — with each hit she takes, her attacks get exponentially stronger. However, that also means she can’t use her powers to their fullest unless she’s been hurt, which I think fits considering everything that has happened to her. She can also use her ribbons as an extra set of limbs for extra mobility, but it's moreso tech than a superpower. (Andrew thought she was useless without it). Her main weakness is magic-based projectiles, which is partially why she has such an emphasis on evasiveness, however if one were to cut her ribbons she'd be much more vulnerable to them.

A good way to think of Rosie's powerset in comparison to other heroes is that before any hits, she is simply a highly skilled fighter that can pack a punch. But Rosie after taking a lot of hits would probably be stronger than what is usually considered super-strength (to balance it out!) In universe, she’s not the strongest hero out there, but can hold her own if necessary, and is especially dangerous in a one-on-one fight.

Her outfit is based off of wrestlers to fit with her powers, specifically Mizuki as her frilly outfits really fit Rosie's vibe imo ! I've been experimenting with using more asymmetry in designs as my designs tend to be pretty symmetrical, that was the main idea behind this design. (Plus, Superheroes need bold, funky outfits ! XP)

I was thinking her superhero name could be Wistermeyer (after a species of dark butterfly -- Weidermeyer’s Admiral -- and the Wisteria flower), but I'm not sure if that's too much of a mouthful. Some alternative options are just Weiyer or Wisteria.

I think they're so doomed. There's absolutely no shot. But in another universe, anything is possible,,, >:J
