Eclipse finally has a reference sheet.

This Eclipse and Solar 's story is called the Solar Eclipse Union. It's part of my AU called the Celestial Waffle House.

The basis is Eclipse is a single dad raising 6 kids.

The kids are Andrew, Charlie, Andy, Jake, Flare, and Jack

He used to only have 5 kids but since Solar moved into his house he agreed to help look after Jack too.

Eclipse is a paranoid man, he is over cautious when it involves the kids and is highly selective on whomever comes to their house. He would NEVER let Sun nor Moon inside his house.

This Eclipse takes place after (EAPS) The Eclipse and Puppet Show ended.

This Eclipse is a rebooted Eclipse version 4. His memory only consists of the shows' YouTube videos.

Unlike Lunar who was scared of finding out he was not the actual REAL Lunar; Eclipse very much accepted the fact he is still THEE big bad Eclipse. He believes he is still the villain. That he deserves the bad things to happen to him because of his past versions' actions.

Even though he doesn't have the full memories of them. He knows why he feels hatred towards Sun and Moon, he knows why he did the things the way he did. But he doesn't know why on that level of hatred. We never really got to see what the past version of himself did when Sun and Moon were not around. We never actually got to see what he was actually thinking in full length because most of the time when we saw Eclipse on screen, he was very much performing.

The only time we actually got to know the real Eclipse was near the end of Version 2's life. Eclipse Version 2 was scared, angry, and didn't want to die.

That is the few memories the current Eclipse remembers very well. But the details are still unknown to him. Because of this, this Eclipse is considered less smart than the original. In reality, Eclipse version 4 just doesn't have that level of motivation... yet.

But after the end of EAPS, he thinks he is doing alright. At least decent enough to look after the children under his care. Even though Eclipse denies it a lot, he is still a daycare attendant and in his base code it's to take care of children. It's just in this case, it is for the long term.

This Eclipse lost many friends, Puppet is dead and Foxy is gone. The pizzaplex animatronics don't trust him anymore. Earth barely sees Eclipse either. Eclipse is very much alone but he is still putting all his effort into the kids' care. Making sure they all have a safe place to call home.

Solar got his reference sheet too.

Solar was revived by Eclipse Version 4 into this new body.

This body is a lot more bulkier then his original which was just a standard DCA body.

This is because this body was meant for Eclipse Version 2. Version 2 created this body for himself to transfer to but he died soon after its creation. With this body freely available, Eclipse Version 4 decided to use it as the host for the revival of Solar which he succeeded.

Solar changed.

When he died he had a family with the Celestials but when he was brought back to live, everything was just broken. The family was falling apart and Solar felt guilt over it. He feels guilt over many things, the death of his Sun and the cause of Nexus' villain arc.

He doesn't want his existence to be the cause of anything bad. But he hates being called the "Good/Nice" Eclipse. It implies him being an Eclipse is automatically bad yet he is considered the exception.

Yet even with the guilt he still tried his best to help the family. He is willing to handle the stress, the death threats, countless enemies against the Celestial Family as long as he still has a family that cares about him.

That all changed when Jack was kidnapped by the Creator. The Creator basically tortured Jack by ordering him to do his bidding and killed a lot of innocent people against his will.

Jack wasn't the same once Solar finally got him back.

Solar thought Jack would be just fine and the Celestial Family could help him after everything he did for them but he was wrong. Arguments kept occurring. It didn't help that Solar was fighting with the Old Moon. Solar didn't know this Old Moon well enough. He knew New Moon/Nexus who was kind and considerate. Solar was seeing too many resemblances to Solar's Moon with this Old Moon. The cruel, careless, and inconsiderate asshole.

And Solar would never let his Moon anywhere near Jack.

After many arguments later, Solar moves out with Jack. He doesn't want his son to deal with the Celestial Family's mess like he had to anymore. Solar wanted somewhere better for Jack. Even if it meant to be separated from him.

Luckily for Solar he was able to make arrangements, thanks to Earth's help, getting in contact with Eclipse. Eclipse agreed with him and Jack could stay at his house in the other dimension.

This is where Solar Eclipse Union kinda starts at, with the arrival of Solar and Jack to Eclipse's house

Eclipses don't like Solar and neither does Solar at the beginning. But both are willing to set aside their differences for the kids. Eclipse would not admit it but he really did need the help. An extra pair of hands.

Also Eclipse is not cruel enough to let Jack stay in the Celestial Family's household. Even letting Solar stay inside his house just so Jack doesn't need to be separated from his father... again.

Eclipse provides the house and security. Solar provides free labor to help around the house and at Eclipse's workplace in the pizzaplex.

Yes, all of Eclipse V2's creation tend to have sharp teeth/fangs. Even when most of them been recreated, they still follow the blueprint of having fangs.

Expect for Solarflare

Eclipse V2 simple didn't have enough supplies to make a mouth for him.

Eclipse V4 legitimately does not know why V2 did this. Eclipse may have most of V2's memories but not all of it.

But Solar later on does come up with a theory on why.

Why is moon so mean or an a*hole in your au?

Have you seen Moon?

Especially from the very beginning in the actual show.

He has always been an asshole. Even portrayed as a villain in canon.

I know current show is trying to give him a redemption phase and the whole mind erasure thing.

But in my AU, this doesn't happen in the current timeline. This Moon just came back to life. He has yet to fully face the fact he has hurt a lot of people and saying sorry isn't enough.

It also should be know that many of the characters that talk about Moon in this AU are very bias. They all have seen Moon's nasty side. Either by him being rude to them or straight up threatening people.

In a way, the Celestial Waffle House AU shows more of the perceptive of Moon's victims than anything.

Sun is also a victim but he isn't innocent either.

Sun and Moon have impacted these people's lives in this AU, these people just gotta keep living in spite of it.

One reason why this entire AU is called the Celestial Waffle House is legit for one scene I have in mind.

Where everyone from each story meets up at ONE particular Waffle House.

To just enjoy breakfast with each other. And I mean EVERYONE is there.

The only people who would not be there is Sun and Moon.

Just wondering, considering that Solar and Eclipse both pretty much are deprived of affection in any way shape or form when they eventually start dating do they get clingy with each other in a way? Or something like that?

Also ye, they do become clingy once they start actually dating.

Not much on PDA thou. They just show way more affection when they are alone. They both still have defensive barriers towards others, just not with each other at that point.

Affection is a rare thing for both of them and neither wants to mess up by being too clingy thou.

Just wanted to say I can't get over the size difference between Solar and Eclipse, it's hilarious yet also kinda fitting? Why make them so different when no matter what they be twinks?

Legit cause I wanted variety in heights.

For lore reason, that body was never meant for Solar. It was meant for Eclipse version 2.

In the actual show, Eclipse version 2 was making a body for himself to swap too while his actual body was slowly destroying itself. This is because of the Newton Star he stole was damaging his body. The only reason why he couldn't transfer to that body was legit because of Solarflare. Eclipse ver2 took over Solarflare's body and morphed it into his own image but Solarflare was not fully killed off. So they shared a headspace for a while and Solarflare refused to let him transfer to a different body.

So when Eclipse version 2 died. There was a body in that space station for a while.

And you know where Solar was revived at?

In that exact space station.

In my memory, the show itself never fully commented on that fact but I decided in my AU. It is a thing.

My Gemini was aware of that body being there (they were stalking Eclipse ver 2) and decided to help Eclipse ver 4 to bring back Solar. Referring to this post.

My Eclipse used that body and modified it a bit to Solar's potential preferences. Mostly modifying the rays and repainting the body.

The bulky build is because Eclipse ver 2 wanted a more sturdier body that could handle the star energy better than a default DCA body. The height thing is legit because Eclipse ver 2 wanted to be taller than Sun and Moon. Plus, the height intimidation buff.

In the canon show, Eclipse did made Solar's clothes before he woke up.

In my AU, Eclipse did the same thing. But just made the regular DCA pants so Solar wouldn't wake up completely naked.

Fun fact: Eclipse thought Solar got rid of those pants since my Solar usually walks around in his overalls.

In reality, Solar actually kept those pants and just wears them as pajamas.

They are a WIP.

Eclipse's reference sheet is actually done. Solar is still a work in progress and I just prefer posting both refs at the same time.

The kids will be posted later on since there designs have been finalized but their refs are still a WIP.

Also yes, all heights in my AU are different from the shows.
