Here my questions:

What are the biggest changes around your au? Like the worldbuilding, the astrals and dark star power entities power system, characters interactions and other honorable mentions?

You need to understand that you asked me the most loaded questions to ask me because it just... so many.

I change so many things and some stayed the same. All are adjusted from the OG show but these minor shifting has resulted into major shifting of the world itself.

So to narrow it down, to the simplistic answer basically ...

everything.

Pieces are just place differently.

One major change I can say are the Astrals. I never liked the concept of the "Guardian Of The Galaxy" they had going on in the show. I understand it was to create drama but it made the Astrals less interesting to me.

So I re-imagine them, I got rid the whole concept of guardian of the universe thing. I got rid of the good vs evil thing they had going on with the Astrals themselves. Negative star energy is not evil in my AU and it's the Followers of these Astrals that set up the propaganda that there is a moral differences between the two.

Positive and Negative star powers are not morally inclusive. The reason why the Astral don't correct these Followers is legit because they do not care what these mortals do.

I just made Astrals into creatures of habit. It's why some people would view them as villains and or monsters. They are just cruel without the intent. They got very good at mimicking.

The second thing is the power system in this AU.

I legit need to set up a graph and I'm still doodling an explanation on how the Astral Power System works but just know this about this AU's powers system in general.

Science, Magic, and Star Powers are all basically the same thing.

Science is basically the full understanding of a subject of magic, and magic is just the study of harnessing natural energy of oneself and/or from nature. Magic can be named many things across the universe. Many can even behave differently and required different ways to harness it. But all can be classified as star energy.

Star powers from an Astral is entirely different.

Everyone in this universe gets their star energy/magic from the originator aka from The Big Bang Event. This event can also be refer to as a "death" of an Astral.

The Big Bang created the universe and the people in it. Everything and everyone contains star energy from that originator.

Astrals , however, do not come from The Big Bang. They predate it so their star energy is entirely their own. They are not part of the flow of energy that exist in the universe. Their powers could be classified as unfiltered raw energy.

That's why Lunar is a special case.

While Eclipse misuse of the Newton Star caught Gemini's attention. It was Lunar that made Gemini stay on planet earth for a little while longer to conduct their research.

Lunar is producing his own star energy. He is basically out of the flow of the universe's enegry. Just like an Astral.

The thing is, Lunar isn't the first. There have been other people in the past who started making their own star energy but all of them soon died. Some only existing for a few minutes then disappearing out of existence.

Lunar is just the longest surviving one.

However, same as the others, his fatal flaw is still having a physical body.

So his star energy is culminating inside his body constantly and needs a way out. If it does not, it will just build up more and more to where it will reach a limit his body can't handle and go... boom.

But that explosion will destroy the entire Solar System.

It's why it is very important for Lunar to keep using his star powers. It's why Gemini encourages Lunar to train, not to be warrior or protector. Just to make sure Lunar doesn't blow up. Gemini viewed it as a waste if Lunar died admittedly before Gemini was finished researching him. Plus it gave Gemini an excuse update their research on current planet earth affairs.

Lunar from the start had a whole different view on what start power was. Same as the rest of the Celestial Family. Moon didn't even know that science, magic and star energy where all the same thing and that everything had star energy. This does lead to funny situations thou.

Mind you, using star energy will still produce a Wither Storm at the end of the universe. The difference is that the Astrals view it as an inevitable. The Astrals don't fear the end. So their is no point in fighting it.

Plus everything in the universe uses star energy, for either magic uses or using it to breath in air. It's very pointless. It's just the natural decay of things.

This is the reason why my Astrals view it as funny that other Astrals from other dimensions try to regulate the use of star energy.

While the use of negative star powers actually does increase the speed of decay of the universe, that has to be another post. That involves more with the Astral Power System and their dynamic with the Astral Followers. That's a whole other explanation.

Jack's abduction from the Creator still happened in this AU. It left very deep scars.

Jack develop more frequent outburst and night terrors. He is not okay.

Solar and Moon had growing tension between the two. Moon was becoming someone Solar recognized. His old Moon. Solar still has nightmares about his Moon.

After a couple more arguments and incidences. Solar had enough.

Solar is willing to handle the hostility, the stress, and the potential death threats. But he is not willing to let Jack endure it too.

Gemini doesn't really get jealous from other mortals trying to flirt with Lunar. They are very open minded. But they will tell people to stop if it gets too excessive, Gemini is aware Lunar dislikes that type of attention from total strangers.

But what would make Gemini jealous/hostile is when other Astrals are nearby.

Just know the Solar Eclipse Union does have lore. A lot of lore. It focuses on family dynamics and the past traumatic events that effect all the characters.

Eclipse in this case is very much alone during this time. Many things happened. The pizzaplex animatronics don't trust him anymore, the mimic possession thing did happened and left scares, William Afton guy did caused serious damage to him and the kids. Eclipse lost a lot of friends and allies.

His only remaining allies were his two friends, Foxy and Puppet. However, one died and the other just simply vanished.

Eclipse was left all alone.

But there are 5 kids that are relying on him. All these kids have no where else to go. No one is looking for them. No one would even want them due to their current condition.

Even thou Eclipse is very overwhelmed, he still steps up to the plate to help them. To at least provide a place they could call home. It is in his base code to be a daycare attendant, to care for children, even if he prefers to not think about his origins. In this case, he is aware this decision will be for a long term.

So ye, Eclipse has his hands full and has basically zero support.

So when Earth ask Eclipse if Solar and Jack could stay at his house for a while, he agreed. Even thou Eclipse never really liked the guy, Solar wasn't the absolute worst person to be around his kids. Plus, he could make Solar pay rent by doing free labor around the house and at the pizzaplex to reduce the work load for him.

Another reason why Eclipse agreed to let them move in is because of Jack's situation. Eclipse agrees that Jack should not be anywhere near the Celestial Household for a while.

Sadly, Eclipse can relate to Jack's situation.

Then you are in the right blog. I just really like Gemini and Lunar is just lucky he is there.

Solar ain't a cinnamon roll. He's just a man who has his proprieties straight. The highest on his list is making sure Jack has a safe place to call home.

But trust on one thing. Once Solar and Eclipse are officially proclaim a couple. Eclipse will be surprised on how high Solar's libido is.

Funfact: It took Solar 2 weeks staying at Eclipse's House to realize he actually had romantic feelings for Eclipse. Bro, just chose to never act on it cause he doesn't want to ruin a good thing they have going on.

Eclipse, however, took several months to realize he also had romantic feelings towards Solar. But Eclipse refuse to acknowledge his emotions and tries to continue life like nothing happened.

Lunar's alternate form/disguise

The reason why he created a disguise is because other aliens kept harassing him.

In the future, the knowledge of Lunar's existence will spread across the universe. "A New Astral have been discovered."

Many aliens will come long and far to find Lunar. Many who are Followers of Astrals in general. All looking for Lunar to grant them their "Wishes".

Many don't know/refuse to acknowledge that Lunar is NOT a legitimate Astral. Lunar can't exactly grant "Wishes" like other Astrals, either.

After many, many, many attempts to deny these aliens and to leave him alone, Lunar had enough.

A lot of these aliens do not understand the concept of no. Some even think they can just take advantage of Lunar just because he is consider a weak Astral, aka a "Fragile Star"

So Lunar tries a new method these Followers would understand.

Violence, aka acting like an Astral.

Astral in general a territorial and violent beings, so Lunar decide to act like one. Putting on a disguise to make it more clear on the connection with the fellow Astrals and to put on a show.

Many of these Astral Followers know better then to be around an Astral when they are actively irritated. So many will stay away out of fear.

Lunar doesn't want to be the bad guy but it was getting to a point that these followers were becoming violent themselves. And Lunar didn't want anyone else getting hurt/die because of him.

His disguise takes a lot of energy out of him. Unlike his lighting attack that only require harnessing star energy for a split second, this disguise required him to cover his entire body with consistent flow of star energy. This is extremely taxing while also needing to still perform his basic moves, like lighting and flying. This results in his disguise only lasting for 10 to 20 minutes before he overheats to dangerous levels and shuts down to prevent any further internal damage. Lunar isn't overly worried by that fact because he knows he has Gemini to catch him if he shuts down.

Gemini will be aware of this whole situation. Even offering to "get rid" of these followers for good for Lunar but he didn't want them to do that. To not repeat last time.

So he would asked Gemini to let him handle it. Gemini would agree to this. They trust Lunar.

Gemini even shows support on his idea of a disguise by placing their own crescent ornament on top of his head as a final touch. To represent their support on his idea and trust that he knows what he is doing.

It's to also show claim in a minimal way. Only few of the Astral Followers are aware who that crescent moon belongs to. The followers will get the hint that they are not just angering one Astral, they are angering two.

The Solar X Eclipse was voted into my AU by my friend group.

One of them dared me to add a Davis X Davis ship.

With Nebula and Nexus unavailable, Solar was a prime bachelor in this AU.

My friend group voted in many possibilities. Ruin, Evil Sun, Sun, and even Taurus. One of my friends voted in Eclipse as tribute, even providing evidences to help their guy.

After several days of brainstorming a story and looking through the evidences, I approved the implement of Solar X Eclipse, aka Solar Eclipse Union to be added to the Celestial Waffle House AU.

Gemini only ever gotten semi along with one Astral.

Virgo.

Virgo was very nice to Gemini and was supportive of their interests. Even thou they never fully understood it.

Virgo ended up in a coma caused by Cetus. So Gemini hasn't had a chat with Virgo for a very long time.

Behold, Gemini in alternate dimensions.

The green Gemini is named Bug Gemini and the brown Gemini is named Cafe Gemini. Both of these characters were created by my friends. They know I like this character and we were rambling the possibilities of Gemini. Spreading the Gemini propaganda.

They are semi friends with my Gemini. :D

This AU is basically Eclipse being a single dad to 5 kids (Andy, Jake, Andrew, Charlie, and Flare) and Solar needing a safe place to stay with Jack so they decided to crash at Eclipse's House. Solar and Eclipse work together to keep the family happy while overcoming challenges that comes from raising so many kids with different needs. Very much a slow burn. Eclipse would rather die than confess his feelings and Solar isn't willing to ruin a good thing going on between them so he doesn't confess either.

Puppet is screaming in the after life to kiss already.

In my AU, Astrals can control nature elements but not in a way we think they do. Their raw star power energy could only be perceived as elements close to nature on planet earth.

Gemini is wind, Leo is fire, Aries is fire, and Taurus is earth.

The elements can describe their star power nature/behavior/perception. The perception of these elements can vary between alien civilization.
