Thats a great question, honestly. A lot has to happen. At first Maroon would be sent on missions to attack Sonic and Blaze like he was raised to do. (I don’t know if he would be ordered to kill them right from the start) Meanwhile Sonic and Blaze would recognize Maroon and realize that he is actually alive. They would make plans to try and “rescue” Maroon and would be met with a son who is resistant and thinks he needs anything but rescuing. Unfortunately they can’t simply tie Maroon up and drag him away from Eggman Nega (partly bc they can’t beat him), they need to appeal to him from the heart. At some point Maroon would realize that Eggman Nega lied about Sonic and Blaze abandoning him. This would be a very hard pill to swallow as it turns his life upside down. But when he comes to terms with it and what it means for him, he will switch sides to join Sonic and Blaze and the three of them can kill Eggman lol(directly or indirectly. Not sure yet)

After all of this, Maroon will still have a hard time choosing to live with his new/original parents. He isn’t used to having so much freedom, and he is still wired to navigate a more hostile environment. He still regularly gets aggressive or distrusting. I think there would be a point where he has a total meltdown, honestly. Even though it is a bumpy experience, it is still ultimately for the best. Maroon enjoys his new freedom and gets to connect to others and have some peace and love in his life now.

I was thinking about Maroon after he finally leaves Eggman Nega, and how the heroes would interact with him. Tails would happily do any maintenance on his cyborg parts now.
