Figging is the practice of inserting a piece of ginger root into the anus or vagina. The ginger, skinned and often carved into the shape of a butt plug, causes an intense burning sensation and discomfort to the subject. If the person being figged tightens the muscles of the anus, the sensation becomes more intense. Just mentioning figging sends shivers up babygirl’s spine. We’ve never done it, but she is nearly terrified to try it. Figging has been a major deterrent of bad behavior in our long distance relationship. I believe the fact that she’s never experienced it has made it way more effective for altering her behavior. She doesn’t know what it’s like, and that amplifies her fear of it more than anything. She has willingly consented to trying it, so it is fair game as a punishment; however, I’m saving it in my tool bag for now. Like I said, her fear of it has been enough for quite a long time.
