But yea I guess they didn’t listen to fred and all that. Also seemed like in some of what I could read that they aren’t taking responsibility for what happened which yea is like bad but ig to me not hate worthy?

We’ve had listeners before not take responsibility for their actions before but later on grow from that. So I’m a little confused why this series was taken down before it even got a chance?

Kinda wish Eric would come back to this series maybe. But like is the whole reason for why it’s not on YouTube anymore is cause people hated bright eyes??

Again maybe I need to read all of the stuff to get a better understanding of the hate but like…

Bright was to blame OR Fred was a “grown ass man” who didn’t need to go along (I hate that so much) So it wasn’t ALL about the fighting. But that no one was seeing his vision and he took it to heart. To view the 2 of them in a way completely opposite from what he was writing bothered him. He owned up to that (contrary to what is often posted) He admitted he may have overreacted, but it hurt him to see the awful comments and knew they’d never stop no matter where he took the story

And a lot of the Bright hate came from Sam fans cause they didn’t like how Bright treated him. It’s a lot harder to pick up just by reading the transcripts

And as a Sam fan…I don’t think I have the right as somone who didn’t watch at the time this series was around to hate on bright.

Like bro they both died…

And Fred prob didn’t wanna see his friend get hurt and go into some creepy park alone like chill dawg 😭

I’m a grown adult and I’d rather not leave my friend alone to explore a place that is prob haunted.

I feel bad Erick didn’t feel good about these characters..the fandom pushing so much hate on them is like so uncalled for like we BARELY KNEW THEM! They got like what? 4 vids?

And they are only mentioned rarely which is just so sad :(

Fred is mostly mentioned bright not so much.

Kinda hope they get a redemption arc. Or maybe some screen time or interactions?

But maybe I’m biased and kinda enjoyed the one full episode that is on the drive I could listen to.

Erik won’t be bringing them back. He posted another message 5 months after the audios were pulled telling his Discord he didn’t want to see ANYTHING regarding them anymore because the fighting was still going on (even though he stated their audios were no longer canon and he wouldn’t return to them) But now the fighting added who in the fandom was to blame for them being pulled 🤦‍♀️ smh

While a bunch of Sam fans did not like Bright, they were in no way solely responsible. But it became “it’s the Fred fans fault” “it’s the Bright fans fault” Erik got to the point he said he’d block people if they continued arguing

But yea I wish we got to know them more so sad to know there story is like not even canon no more but just aspects of it are.
