Shower Meditation
Once you get in the shower, turn on the water and ground yourself by imagining a straight line coming from the sky, going down your spine and and then into the ground.
Focus on the sensation of water dripping down your body. Notice how your skin feels like. Is the water warm or rather cold? Can you feel it on your skin? How does your body feel like? Are you tense or relaxed? What are your thoughts right now? Notice all of this without judging. Just be aware of everything you feel right now.
Now visualise the water clearing your mind as it flows down your head. Give in to the cleansing effect of the water. Say (or think):
"Dear Water, clear my mind and clear my body. Wash away the worries and the tension that have collected over the day"
Now imagine it filling you with new, clear, untainted energy. Think abut the things you want to achieve tomorrow. Don't think too far into the future. Say:
"Dear Water, fill me up again. Fill me with the energy I need for the next day. Give me a clear mind and a clear heart, but don't leave me empty."
When you feel ready, you can thank the element for it's support and for it's kindness. Go on with your normal shower routine, but keep the feeling of gratitude.

DIY Magical Shower Disks
So you have seen our lovely bath magic spells but you cannot take a bath. Maybe you don’t have a bath in your current residence, maybe you are physically unable to use bathtubs, maybe you’re just super stretched for time but want to get in some extra magical umph. Recreational Witchcraft is here for you.
Shower disks are traditionally used in the aromatherapy world to relieve congestion and other flu-symptoms while showering via the use of essential oils, but we will be bumping up their magical potential.
Basic recipe:
1 cup baking soda
1 tablespoon corn starch
1/3 cup of water
Muffin tins and muffin liners
Combine baking soda and corn starch (making sure there are no clumps), then slowly add in the water. Fill lined muffin tins about third of the way, then leave out for 24 hours to dry completely. Carefully take them out of the liners, add your essential oils, and place your disk somewhere in your shower that will allow them to dissolve slowly while you do your business. Bam. You’re done.
Now onto the magic. All dry ingredients (herbs, spices, etc) should be added in with the baking soda and corn starch before the water is added. All essential oils should be added right before they’re used (so when they’re completely dry).
Cleansing and Purifying:
essential oil of rosemary
essential oil of lemongrass
dried peppermint leaves
dried lemon rinds
dried rosemary
Protection:
essential oil of lavender
essential oil of eucalyptus
dried basil leaves
dried lavender flowers
pinch of ground cloves
Glamour:
essential oil of sweet orange
essential oil of rose
essential oil of jasmine
crushed red rose petals
pinch of (body safe) glitter
Attracting Love:
vanilla extract
essential oil of jasmine
essential oil of ylang ylang
apple seeds
1 lavender flower
pinch of cinnamon
Attracting Money:
essential oil of patchouli
essential oil of juniper berry
dried mint leaves
dried thyme
pinch of allspice
Witchy Baths Masterpost
Here is a big masterpost of different types of baths for different types of witches! Use these baths before or after witchcraft to pump yourself up or to wind down. And you do not have to be any specific type of witch to use any of these baths. Any witch can use them.
Note: Many of these baths call for crystals. Research crystals before getting them wet. Many of them listed you should not put in water, instead keep them at the edge of your tub or near it.
Sea Witch Bath
Kelp Powder (1 tsp)
Sea Salt (½ tsp)
Coconut Oil (1 spoonful)
Coconut Water (½ cup)
Sea Glass, Sea shells, aquamarine, ocean jasper, abalone, pearl, larimar, coral, sand dollars and/or clear quartz
Wood Spoon
Blue and white candles (optional- ocean scented ones)
Steps: Light your candles before filling the tub. Once you start filling the tub add your coconut oil, coconut water, sea salt and kelp powder. With your spoon stir clockwise to help mix in the powder, which can take a bit. The water should turn a faint green tint (the more kelp you add the greener it gets but also the stronger the smell gets). Line your tub’s edge with your sea glass, sea shells, and gemstones. Be sure not to let the gemstones fall in the water, especially if they are ones that can’t get wet. Get into your tub and enjoy.
Note: Kelp powder smells very strongly of kelp, it is a scent I personally like but a lot of people don’t. Air out your bathroom a bit after the bath to disperse the smell. Also if you do not wish to smell like kelp yourself, rinse off after your bath quickly.
Swamp Witch Bath
Kelp Powder (2 spoonfuls)
Clay or Bath Mud like Moor Mud (read label for how much to use)
Green and brown candles
Wooden Spoon
Snail shells, alligator teeth, rounded rocks and any green gemstones you may have
Optional- Moss if you have potted moss to keep on the edge of the tub (or a moss bathmat)
Steps: Light your candles then begin to fill your tub. Add in your kelp powder and the mud, using your wooden spoon stir clockwise to mix. Depending on the type of mud/clay you are using the water will either turn very green to a dark brown. Line your tub with your gemstones, rocks, teeth and snail shells. If you are bringing in a moss plant or other plants keep them near the tub. Get into the tub and relax, if your moss is a stepable type of moss and in reach you can rub your fingers in it as you relax.
Note: Like the sea witch bath, you may want to air out the bathroom after your bath. This bath will smell much stronger of kelp and you may want to shower afterwards to avoid smelling strongly of kelp. You may have to rinse your tub to rid of mud used.
Forest Witch Bath
Pine Needles
Pinecones
Pine essential oil (2 drops)
3 bags of green or black tea
Green sachet
Mint
Cedar Chips
Green Candles (optional- tree or plant scented ones)
Steps: Light your candles and begin filling your tub. In you sachet add 1 part cedar chips and 1 part mint. Tie it shut and add to your bath as it fills. You may then add the pine needles to float freely or you may add them in a sachet as well. Add your two drops of pine oil once the tub is half filled to ensure it is well diluted in the bath. Add your tea bags into the water, line your tub with the pinecones and get in.
Note: essential oils can be harsh on certain skins, dilute the oil with a carrier oil and test on your skin to see if it affects you. If your skin is too sensitive for pine oil omit it from the spell.
Floral Witch Bath
Rose petals
Lavender
Chamomile
Meadow sweet/Sweet grass
Rosemary
Pink and/or Green sachets
Pink Candles

Grounding Stones Bowl
This may not look like much, but it’s actually one of the most helpful and incredible magickal things I have ever created, and I wanted to share it with all of you.
Essentially what the bowl of rocks does is sucks up negative energy and grounds you when you put your hands in the bowl. Basically, it’ll help you with anxiety, depression, anger, or any other negative emotion you might experience.
I’ve even had it completely calm a full blown panic attack.
Yeah, it’s that good.
Procuring the items to go in the bowl is easy. I just went to Walmart and got a glass bowl for like $3, and then 2 bags of decorative rocks for like $2. All in, this is about $5. And, you can always just go out and collect the stones yourself.
And, the spell is simple:
Cast your circle and call upon any spirits or dieties you normally work with.
Cleanse the rocks. I like to cleanse my items with all four elements, starting with incense and working my way around: candle, water, and then salt. I also like to say something to the effect of, “cleanse these (in this case) stones of all negativity and set them to the purpose of grounding energies and riding negativity.”
Create a sigil. I used a sigil that I actually created for another spell.
4. Charge and activate that shit and put it at the bottom of the bowl. This sigil I feel is the quintessential aspect of the entire spell. This sigil will act as basically a black hole for all negativity. It literally banishes and vanishes that energy.
5. Put your rocks in there. Hold the bowl in your hand and, while visualizing the stones sucking up negativity and making them vanish, solidify the bowls purpose by saying something like, “May this bowl of stones suck up and banish negative energies when anyone puts their fingers or hands in the bowl. So mote it be.”
And you’re done! Now, any time you feel like… Bleh- just shove your fingers in the bowl and allow it to suck up and banish that negativity from you. This can also be a great meditation tool as well.
Let me know your thoughts!!
The "I'm Tired, I'm Dying" Spell
This is a spell to do when you’re tired and you feel shit out of luck and you have more than a million things to accomplish.
Things you need:
Black Tea
Cinnamon (stick cinnamon is best)
Lemon and/or Ginger
Brew your tea and add your ginger and/or lemon. The ginger is greatly used for success and power, and mundanely can be used to ease aches such as an icky stomach or headache. Lemon enhances physical energy and is great when you’re experiencing mental fatigue (just a couple drops will do). Mix well with a cinnamon stick. If you don’t have a cinnamon stick handy just add a bit of powdered cinnamon and swirl clockwise while saying:
“I’m tired, I’m dying,
but I’m still trying.
Lift my head,
I’m not dead.”
Say this while mixing until you feel that it is done. Drink the tea and take some time to chill before you go crazy.
🚀🍻 “Nuka-Cola” Potion 🍻🚀
inspired by fallout 4′s health potion, “nuka-cola”, here is a frosty potion recipe for emotional healing and positive disposition.

🍻 fill the glass not completely with the soda.
🚀 add in caramel to taste
🍻 add in ice cream and cover. let it sit 5 minutes, letting the ice cream melt.
🚀 place the red stone over the lid of the drink while you wait for the ice cream to melt, letting its energies mix with the drink

🚀 keep the red stone for whenever you need the potion’s magic again.

Quick elemental boosts for depression
Air
Gather some feathers or dried leaves or dandelion. Charge them with your worries and your sadness. Imagine them manifesting all that holds you down. Then blow them away while focusing on the wind carrying away your worries where they can do you no harm
Fire
Light a black candle. Write down “sadness” on a piece of paper (or write down whatever worries you most). Fold the paper in half and kiss it with the intention of sealing that negative feeling inside the folded paper. Charge it with the darkness surrounding you. Then carefully burn the paper with the candle while focusing on the fire cleansing you from negativity and your depression literally burning away.
Water
Find a dirty stone. The stone represents you and the dirt is the negative feelings you are holding onto. Charge the stone with that intention. Then stand in front of a sink ( or another source of flowing water) and wash the stone thoroughly while focusing on cleaning your own soul. Feel yourself getting lighter and more troublefree as the stone becomes cleaner. Finally you should feel fresh and bright with all your worries washed away.
Earth
Get an uncooked egg. Charge it with negativity (and write “sadness” or whatever feels right on the egg). Go on a walk and find a spot you feel at peace at, lay the egg on the ground and smash it with your foot while focusing on stomping on the negativity surrounding you and banishing it. Stand there for a while and imagine the fresh soil giving you strength and helping you grow free of this sadness.
It goes without saying that these are no magical cure for depression. If you feel suicidal or think you might suffer from depression, please turn to a professional. Stay safe xx
What's the truth?
I am alright
I do not wish for death at night.
What's the truth?
My life is fine
I do not ever cross that line.
What's the truth?
I like to lie
And pretend that bliss is almost my.
Are you walking while you're talking?
Falling over lives you're stalking?
What's the truth?
Shall I confess?
That I am mostly just a mess?
Of hopes and dreams and strings all tangled?
Always going empty-handed?
What's the truth?
I try and fall
I am no optimist at all.
And often I get very scared
By all the times I really cared.
I never wish from my own core
And waking up is still a chore.
What's the truth?
It's not that hard
To lose yourself and fall apart
But getting up again when shattered
Wishing it had never mattered?
Putting it all back together?
Even if it takes forever?
What's the truth?
It's not that easy
I know this might come off as cheesy.
We all struggle, we all break
For all of us that's hard to take.
What's the truth?
I like to give
Laugh and dance and love and live
What's the truth?
One day I'll die
My life will not just be a lie.
So what's the truth? - a poem
There's a colour for
Every feeling invented
And those that haven't been.
Haiku #4
If something bad did
Happen, at least then my pain
Would have a reason.
Haiku #3
Explaining love is
Just like trying to describe
The taste of water.

Love has betrayed me
Over and over. This time,
I want it to work.
Turn a song into a haiku / red by pale waves
I am crying rivers sometimes. When I do, it feels like I am always doing it. No matter how many good days I have, as soon as there is one bad minute, it feels like there never has been a moment of light. It is strange how that works. It is almost like the good days do not count at all, like they can be cancelled out by any glimpse of sorrow. Sometimes I am always crying. I have to remember that it is only sometimes. I have to learn to not let the world end every time. There are moments where the ceiling is collapsing. Or maybe the floor. I never know which direction I am going. But most times I do. I know it is getting better. Even though it is hard to believe. Sometimes at least.
