i don’t agree with this take at all sorry. tracy humanised him and idt she’s the reason why ppl dig into his life now. ppl become parasocial with anyone nowadays, and luigi being a criminal isn’t going to stop that. especially since he literally went internationally viral - people all over the globe know of him now, and twitter was in absolute shambles that day trying to find everything about him. we are in the age of social media, and the ppl on social media and twitter dig up things about EVERYONE nowadays - old tweets, old photos, old insta pics etc. it doesn’t matter cos the new gen are nosy and want to know everything - it just comes with stan culture in general. if you think luigi’s fandom are nosy and parasocial, i don’t know what you’d do when you see more famous celebrities like taylor swift or ariāna grande’s fandoms lmfaooo 😂😂

i remember seeing big pop culture stan accounts on twitter literally making screen recordings of his insta, facebook, twitter etc. before people like prosper even came into the picture. this was always bound to happen. he’s a hot criminal who committed one of the most famous and symbolic murders. even before his identity was revealed, the crime itself still went viral and ppl were thirsting over the masked pics 💀💀

thank you for your perspective anon, I do agree with the fact that people don’t know any boundaries nowadays & get parasocial quickly! just because something is posted online, doesn’t mean that you should go digging for it. I sometimes wonder what he thinks about people finding crumbs of him & some even gatekeeping them.

I know he is probably aware of all of it now, and it most have felt good in the beginning to get validation like that and for people to find you attractive but I can imagine that in the long run it gets boring…. Especially now almost two years in, you can tell prison is really taking a toll on him, so to see people have the same behavior as he got arrest is weird…

I know he obviously have bigger things to worry about - but I sometimes think about if it ever effects him negatively to have people put the expectation on him being a hero - especially knowing how some people reacted when the EED discussion became public.

Knowing how he put pressure on himself/had high expectations from his family his whole life - it makes me think he’s always had a lot of his self worth tied up in performance.

I hope he knows there’s a lot of unconditional love and support for him out here too 💔
