just took a DNA test but it turned out I didn’t have any and the doctor got really mad at me
people keep tagging this post with Spock and I Just want to know what it means. how can he not have DNA. he’s not a hologram or a robot or anything. he’s a whole guy, made out of meat. he should be FULL of DNA. somebody please explain because out of everybody tagging this with the names of their OCs (which to be fair I also want to hear about) I keep seeing Spock’s name come up and I Just want to know why
bc in the series its a running joke that bc spock is half human and half vulcan and the only one to ever exist his biology is kinda just. Batshit insane. like his blood pressure and shit make no sense bc theres no normal baseline to compare it to because hes literally unique, and like he seems fine?? like hes eatin n breathing and can like. do day to day life stuff fine. But in terms of how the combination of alien amd human biology meshes n interacts its kinda a roulette wheel. vulcans have this thing which is a part of their sexual maturity, but after they become adults, where their body goes nuts and they go in a fever trance thing and become rlly animalistic and uncontrolled during a 'mating time' and after the 1st time its every 7 years as an adult, except spock doesnt get it till hes on the enterprise and like 37 and hed just assumed it wouldnt happen to him bc *shrug* he hadnt had it for that long and hes half human so eh guess not.
and its a running theme in his frememy relationship with Bones (Dr McCoy, ship doctor) where McCoy's gotta treat this melodramatic 'no im not i am the most serious logical person ever' son of a bitch who is the humanoid equivalent of a CatDog with a pulse like the macarena and a second backup eyelid and a hush hush fuckfrenzy time and a heart where a humans liver would be. Who refuses to tell him anything abt anything and replies to medical questions with 'what are you, a cop' and calls him an idiot all the time. and they trade insults back n forth like pokemon cards about humanity (spock) and vulcanity (?) (mccoy) though they secretly care abt each other though theyd probably vomit in their mouths if they tried to adknowledge it.
they barely tolerate each other to be around jim (cpt kirk) whos Mccoy's old buddy and spocks soulmate. jim finds this all very entertaining
