I thought Liu Xiao was just playing prey to trick Jae Lee, and it turns out that's exactly what happened

As we know, Vein killed Cheng Xiaoshi, and it’s pretty clear that the reason was to punish him because Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi had disrupted certain things related to time. Anyway, the Season 3 trailer was released recently, and we saw child Vein in it, but his eyes were yellow. Assuming Vein didn’t have his ability yet, what if the person inside Vein’s body at that moment was actually Xiaoshi? And what if Vein’s punishment was actually connected to his own past?

Think about it like this: one day, Cxs and Lg were working on photos again and happened to obtain one that was connected to Vein’s past. What if they entered that photo, learned something, or even changed something? Then Vein found out about it and started hunting them down for revenge. Maybe if they had never gotten involved, they wouldn’t have become enemies with Vein in the first place.

This is completely just my own theory, I’m not claiming any of this is true! I’m just really excited that we’re finally going to see their childhood in the new trailer. I was casually rewatching it when this idea suddenly came to me, and it actually felt pretty convincing. I love every single one of them (except Liu Xiao 😒), and honestly, it makes me sad because two of my favorite characters (Lg and Vein) are enemies, and Vein ends up causing the death of another one of my favorites.

I really hope Haoling keeps the promise of giving us a “bittersweet” ending instead of making it completely heartbreaking.

Here’s my own opinion! It doesn’t completely reflect the characters’ personalities. For some of them I based it on their personality, while for others I based it on the vibe they give off. (Spoilers for Lu Guang.)

Liu Xiao: I think Electro suits him really well visually. Both the colors in his design and how distant he is make him seem like someone who could have an Electro Vision, but his personality doesn’t fully match it. I see him as Electro purely because of his vibe.

Xia Fei: Fei is such a sweet character and is insecure most of the time. Even though his vibe is similar to Hydro, I think he could be Cryo. His insecurity, his anxiety, how he still keeps trying, and the fact that he’s still such an amazing person despite all that make Cryo fit him, in my opinion.

Vein: This man is Pyro okay? His color palette, his personality, the fact that he’s the leader of Chinatown, how eccentric and passionate he is… everything about him screams Pyro. I don’t even think I need to explain this one.

Qiao Ling: I’m not really sure about this one, but she feels like Hydro. She has a very devoted personality and clearly has a strong sense of justice, but I’m still not completely sure.

Cheng Xiaoshi: I think Xiaoshi is Pyro, but before that I want to talk about the possibility of him being Cryo. Xiaoshi longs for a family, so he feels abandoned and is basically an insecure baby :( Because of that, he tries so hard to live his life and does his best to stay hopeful and kind. In the donghua, more than anything else, he wanted to help the people in those photographs. Besides that! He also feels very Pyro because he’s passionate and full of energy. He loves basketball, he does everything he can to help people, and he loves photography. His energy is definitely Pyro, but deep down he could have been Cryo too.

Lu Guang: IDK 😭 He could be Geo, but he could also be Anemo, and then Cryo! First of all, Cryo matches both his color palette and his distant personality really well. He’s determined but also anxious. If I take the events of the donghua into consideration, then Anemo fits because he lost the two people he cared about the most, and in the new season’s trailer he says he can’t live in a future without them and breaks down crying. (That made me so sad. I love him so much.) That’s why Anemo would suit him really well. Aside from those two, if we only consider his personality, he’d be Geo. (His personality is a bit similar to Albedo’s.) He’s determined and very methodical. He even seems to be a little obsessed with order and cleanliness. He’s deeply attached to Xiaoshi, hardworking, and even though he knows the past can’t be changed, he stubbornly keeps trying anyway. So basically, Cryo based on his theme, Anemo based on his story, and Geo based on his personality.

I don’t have any Vision ideas for Li Tianchen, Li Tianxi, or Jae Lee, so I looked at the Bridon Arc as a whole instead. This is completely my own opinion. If you think these characters would have different Visions, feel free to share your thoughts!

It’s a Dottore x Reader story, but Pantalone has secretly been longing for the reader. However, because the reader is with Dottore, he never makes a move or acts on those feelings. But after the recent events, when Dottore dies (I’m still very upset about it), the reader is left feeling heartbroken and devastated. Pantalone becomes the one who comforts them emotionally, helping them through their grief, and over time he slowly starts making moves and letting his feelings show.

I’m a complete sucker for longing and angst, okay? Thinking about things like this and making myself sad is basically my own personal form of torture and drama. 😭

I’m still deeply upset about Dottore and the fate he was given. I can’t fully accept it even now. Nahida tried so hard to forgive and heal Scara despite all the pain he caused her, and we saw that hateful puppet consumed by darkness slowly learn how to be human and start caring for his companions. But with Dottore… maybe if someone had noticed what was happening to him as a child, everything could have been prevented from the start. (I’m not blaming Nahida here, because the Archon during Zandik’s childhood was Rukkhadevata.) Why didn’t Nahida show the same effort she showed Scara to Dottore too? Even Venti still considered Signora one of his people, so why did Nahida call Dottore “the Harbinger of Snezhnaya”? Isn’t he one of her people too? Doesn’t he deserve love as well? Even his own family hated him enough to give him the name “Zandik,” a Persian name meaning “heretic” or “deviant.” Imagine being rejected so deeply that the very name given to you already defines you as something wrong.

The original Dottore dying and the others being segments changes nothing to me. Those segments are still him, his memories, emotions, personality, everything just versions of him from different ages. After the last cutscene, I realized Dottore wasn’t completely selfish. If he were selfish, he wouldn’t have allowed the original Dottore to die. He hated himself so much that he didn’t even bother trying to save himself.

I also feel frustrated that we know so little about him in-game. They could have explored his memories, his childhood, his relationship with his segments, or even the bonds he had with the other Fatui members. There was so much potential to understand him beyond just “the evil scientist.” I just wish Nahida had given him a chance. During the Sumeru quest, he even said he didn’t want to be rejected for a third time. Maybe that’s why he became so loyal to Tsaritsa. The warmth, kindness, and sense of home that his own god never gave him were instead given by the Cryo Archon the very Archon who shouldn’t even symbolize warmth.

I love him so much. Every single part of him is precious to me. I just wish I could give Zandik the world. Seeing such an intelligent character end up like this genuinely hurts me. I’m not defending his experiments, but maybe if someone had truly tried to help him, his intelligence and knowledge could have been used to help countless people. Dottore isn’t selfish, he’s someone who hated himself and devoted everything he had to his research :( I never saw him as pure villain, and I never will.

Also Webby is SO SILLY Why didn't they add his stupid bowtie and outfit to the game? He he ho ho
