MY CAT IS DYING pls help.
This is my kitty; Loki.
Loki has a rare type of cronic-anemia that make sher own body to auto-destroy her own blood, so she needs for-life and constant medication. While medicated, she is a cheerful and active kitty. But unluckily, on 2021, with only 1yo of life, she got her first huge anemia attack, that almost killed her. She needed 3 BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS in order to save her life.
She recovered after it, and we learned about her illness. But also, we were warned about her medication: Prednicortone (20mg) being bad for her kidneys, so we were recommended to low it as much as possible.
Everything was fine thill recently, where we tried to low it a little more due to it making her heats painfull for her due to hormonal issues and the no-possibility of sterilizing her (there were a lot of risks). This has made her now, in 2025, have a WORST anemic attack that is killing her.
This is yesterday's results (27º March, 2025).
She barely have blood in her body.
She is dying.
If you can, please share thos and / or donate. Last time (2021) we had to pay 4k€, and we recently finished the payment, on January 2025.
Since we, by now, are expecting only 1 blood transfusion, we do not think there is gonna be as much as last time, but we are not sure at all.
