lets create a cell
cell membrane
cytosol
mitochondria
vacuole
peroxisome/lysosome
nucleus
smooth ER
rough ER
free ribosome
golgi body
chloroplast (optional)
other organelle
cell membrane = membrane on outside of cell cytosol = liquid in cell / all space with no organelle, there is a lot mitochondria = powerhouse of cell vacuole = storage, more imp in plant cell peroxisome/lysosome = break down stuff, keep cell clean nucleus = contains the DNA/genetic info smooth ER = it packages molecules and helps make fats rough ER = same but with proteins, it contains ribosome free ribosome = makes protein!! most are in rough ER though golgi body = moving, organizing, packing, modifying protein/fat chloroplast = cell uses it for photosynthesis other organelle = some minor organelle I didn't mention
we can totally make a functioning cell!!
I think yāall are slightly underestimating the cytosol⦠imagine if your room was filled with stuff and you could only move through like 5.9% of it? Not ideal
