This is the heartbreaking reality for Hossam Al-Qazzaz, a father from Gaza who has been plunged into famine and despair. Once a provider, Hossam is now struggling to keep his four children alive amidst unimaginable hardships. His youngest, baby Habiba, is particularly vulnerable—without diapers or milk, her health is at constant risk, and her cries are a daily reminder of the dire circumstances they face.
For Hossam, survival has been stripped down to the most basic of human needs: food for his children. He asks not for luxury, but for sustenance, for the chance to stop the pain of hunger that haunts his family. A small donation, even $5, could mean the difference between despair and hope. It could mean a meal, a clean diaper, or a glimmer of relief for a father desperate to provide for his children amid the total desolation of war.
