the plot demands it

I just watched the first half of The Gray Man and I’m so far down the Coltland Gentry rabbit hole that I picked up on this tiny measly link between gray man, fall guy and phm because I like to overanalyse everything and the brothers are all I think about:

"I miss characters living alongside us."

The Gray Man au where Hansen kidnaps Ryland and Colt to lure Court into giving back the hard drive, but Ryland and Colt escape on their own, sending Court, Hansen, and the C.I.A into a race to find them first.

Coltland gentry AU where Grace is chatting with Carl and casually mentions he has a brother who's a government agent too, and Carl is like oh what department and Grace, absorbed in his work while talking and not paying attention and totally forgetting you know, the SECRET, just blurts out "Oh he's a Sierra, he's Six."

Apparently the reason why Ryan Gosling is so much bigger in Fall Guy than most of his other muscle man movies is cause they were actually feeding Ryan Gosling so that Colt looked “out of shape” as a stuntman…….

THIS should be what they go for.

Sometimes people are like "oooh you like coltlandgentry? Isn't that just angst? Dont you just looooove angst?"

the only way i would trust an aftg live action is if it was done by a group of college students with a vintage camcorder and a bunch of thrift shopped outfits and diy props committing to the bit literally for the love of the fucking game where the acting and the music and the cinematography end up being immaculate due to pure passion and devotion to the both the art form and the source material such that by the end you forget you're watching some low budget grainy video made by rubbing two pennies together cus you're too busy watching the final moments through your tears
