Im super hungry and have not had dinner yet (11pm) but i cant eat dinner because of how much pain my leg is in. And I cant stand the thought of getting up let alone standing long enough to get food.

And pain meds don't even dull the pain. They gave me a topical ibuprofen bs shit (even tho i knew it wouldnt do fuck all) and lo and behold it is not doing fuck all.

And i told them pain meds dont help. But whatever. Fucking hate it. They dont ever give me shit like mobility aids or pain meds for my pain. Haven't been able to walk for long without really bad pain since fucking Feb. But theres nothing visibly wrong and I just have to stay the course of fucking PT.

Meanwhile my knees dont work so I cant stand for long periods. But also I can't sit for even short periods because of my neck.

But truthfully nothing beats having like 90 books on your shelf that you haven't read, and then, in a moment of inspiration deciding to skim your shelves looking for "the" book that will capture your attention for the next few hours and then devouring it.

And when you finish that one, skimming the shelves again to find something else new and inviting, and devouring that one.

Most interesting I had been using a bookmark while I was reading this go around and I'm not a big bookmark user I usually just use a scrap of paper or memorize the page. But at some point within the last week I found this particular bookmark laying around and started using it for the last two books I read.

Lo and behold it's the exact same bookmark I had used when I started the book forever ago just a duplicate copy. (it was from an independent bookstore, that I apparently received two bookmarks from)
