Hiding the Internet and banned VPNs isn't going to keep kids safe, they'll either use Tor and be exposed to even worse shit that you can't control, or they'll be inexperienced and join social media with no knowledge or awareness on what to avoid or be careful of

Plus you're cutting people off of safe spaces they can't find in real life
