Oh you’re incredibly lucky! I just got here right before the trip and now that I’m back I have boxes upon boxes waiting to be unpacked. Have you gotten to explore anywhere as of late? So I can’t offer you up and suggestions since I’ve not explored the town at all, other than a local coffee shop. Should you find any great places let me know! I’m gonna be looking for fun places to pop into soon enough, when the boxes are wittled down. 

Well hey, if you’d like, we could try out going to a few places. Company always makes for a better time. If you need help unpacking, I could join you there as well. 

I got some good child friendly suggestions when I asked, like the aquarium, the children’s museum and of course the many parks around town. As for other things are you a bar, partying type of person or like more chill and quieter things to do?

Ah yes, Ozias loves aquariums, he loves watching all of the fish and the pretty colors. Other things, yeah, I don’t really drink much, but bars and parties can be fun, but I also enjoy more of a chill setting as well. I like to keep an open mind.

That’s the best feeling isn’t it, having everything unpacked? I’m glad to hear you’re settled - and there are so many places in town to explore! I have yet to see them all myself, so if you need a buddy I would love to join you. Downtown is a great place to start, there are a handful of adorable little shops.

That sounds great, I’d really like that. As long as you don’t mind a toddler being around when he’s not with his dad. We should definitely have a fun girls’ outing sometime, it’s been a while since I’ve done anything of the sort.

The funplex might be a good option for your kids. There are a bunch of parks and the community center as well though.  I think that it might just be a matter of getting out there and exploring. What kind of things if Ozias into to?  Maybe I can help offer better suggestions based on that.

It’s always a very good feeling, isn’t it? Being settled in, having things feel a bit more like home. And having a break is a nice thing, too, you’ll get to know the town in no time, really. As for suggestions, my daughter and I like to do the miniature golf course, although it’s a bit cold for that. The children’s museum is quite nice, or just going to some of the nearby parks. When I don’t have my little one, I just eat, mostly.

Yes, absolutely. Though I always feel a bit guilty having a break, like I should be spending my time doing some kind of work. It is nice though.

It’s fun being back on tv after being off for eight weeks but moving to bayview for a fresh start might be a good thing i will just have to wait and see now i need to unpack and for all of who don’t know who i am the name is Leah or Mella calling me either one is fine and i do hope everyone had a great Christmas. @townofbayview​

It’s definitely always fun to get back into work. For me, anyway, I love it. Welcome to town, I’m Lara. I just got back in town myself, spent Christmas with my mum back home. 

I would say Pacos Tacos, Captains Pizza all the good greasy foods here. 

Nice, I’m sure a town like this has a good burger place, so I’m definitely excited to find that.

Well “Santa” always found his way to visit me as a child even during Hanukkah so anything’s possible!

I’d like that! Be warned, I will probably not be able to keep up with it on my first go. I can learn though, I’ve come to the conclusion of if I can learn how to sword fight in six inch stilettoes and survive without breaking my ankles, I can learn anything.

I am the one and only. I’m sure you would have put two and two together eventually.  We’re so very glad that you’ve decided to move to town.  We were still in the beginning of things when he filmed Blood Wars. It feels like another lifetime ago.  I absolutely love him though. He’s the best husband and father to my kids I could have ever dreamed of. 

We’d love that. You’re also welcome to come over to our house. I’m sure the boys will even do art for you and everything. They love drawing for their “aunts” and and “uncles”.

I’m glad I did. Yes, that really does feel like a lifetime ago, for me too, it was such a while before I had my son. Before I really even thought I would have children. Now I can’t imagine my life without him. 

It all seemed like a great idea once I decided on moving and it’s like I completely forgot that I have a 4 year old and a 3 year old. Safe to say my hair might fall out soon so if see me wearing nothing but hats all of a sudden you know why. I’m mostly kidding, they actually haven’t been too bad despite me moving them right before a big Holiday. I think I have done a really good job hiding my stress and pretending like I know what I’m doing. Anyway, if anyone knows some fun places or activities for small kids tell me all about it. They for sure need an outlet for all of their energy and I need a spa day soon. I will add that I’m still really excited to be here and have no regrets, oh and I’m Alexandra or Alex if you prefer. @townofbayview​

I feel you completely on that, I have a 3 year old myself. And trust me, most of us are pretending like we know what we’re doing. I’ve mostly been letting Ozias run around on the beach since we live right on it, but I’ve also found a few parks and indoor playgrounds; I can write you up a list if you like. I’m Lara.

It’s a good place so, I can’t blame you for that. Really? What kind of sports did you do? I mostly hit the gym for movies so, can’t say I’m a huge sports fan, I’m more into looking at sports.

I started with lacrosse, rugby, eventually got into tennis and netball. Outside of school, I also did roller derby. What sports are you more into watching then?

I’m very glad you liked them. Thankfully, almost all my packing is done, so I look forward to that. I’ve been wanting to go out more and see some of the town.

Oh, that sounds like a generous request for the holidays. Christmas Day is for me and my kids, but I’d be happy to taste test your food in the days leading up to Christmas.

I’ll probably be with my mum Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But yes, the days leading up to it, I would love to have friends over for food and Christmas-y things.
