It makes me so happy to hear that! I actually didn’t use references for this, I just trusted in my memory! But if you wanted to look up Ariadne’s inspiration in general, I recommend images of ancient Minoan and Mycenaean surviving wall frescoes (or the occasional mask). Such as:

What remained is so fascinating! There‘s also a few modern recreated looks from those eras from a general internet search. Such as:

And as for Ariadne’s face in particular —- she pretty much has my own face and expression! So you could say I was the model for her ^.^
