Geralt is such a good protag to me because he is an impossibly good monster hunter and swordsman, has 1/3 of the continent's population (male and female) in love with him, is very articulate and intelligent- and yet he is still a bit of a loser. Girldad to deeply concerning teenager. Is in a 30-year-long situationship. Falls out with his best friend like they're on the playground. Spends all the money he barely scrapes up on a new jacket. Immediately ruins said jacket. So it goes.

I was inspired a little while back by this post about playing bingo with Witcher ships - there are a bunch of fun tropes common to LambertxAiden on one of the cards! I dunno if I'll make 'bingo' yet, but the idea for this popped into my mind when I looked at the card and I had to draw it! (I apologize if any of the cursing doesn't make sense - I do not speak nearly as many languages and Lambert theoretically does and thus used a really quick and not-at-all-thorough google search to some up with placeholder text).)
I also very much need Aiden who is beyond morally gray. Aiden who absolutely does kill for money, who doesn't care about people's safety and breaks off contracts whenever he feels like it. Aiden who steals and murders and bullies. Aiden who is pretty much an asshole to everyone but Lambert simply because he's interested in the Wolf.
Lambert and Aiden who argue all the time. Aiden who corrupts Lambert's morals. Lambert who "fixes" Aiden's.
Lambden, i crave some Lambden. And for a word, blue please 😌

Been plagued by the idea of Lambert finding the place where they buried Aiden. And then he digs him out, gently, with his bare hands. Mud and dirt coating his hands, digging under his fingernails as he uncovers the shallow grave. It's been years. There's nothing left but his bones, stained and dirty. Not at all how Lambert remembers Aiden. He kneels there, in the cold mud, fingers ghosting over Aiden with reverence. "Promised, I'd find you, didn't I?" Lambert whispers, knowing that he won't be heard. He gently lifts Aiden's skull out of his grave, cradles it in his arms like he did so many years ago, fingers brushing over cheekbones, a soft kiss against his temple. "Let's get you cleaned up, love," he says and takes every part of Aiden with him.

god smut is so hard to write.
first you gotta do the build up and then the actual fucking and the fucking is pretty easy but you never know how long the fucking should last, and eventually you're like "okay I'm tired of this" so the characters cum, but you're not done yet because you can't just end it at "he fucking nutted everywhere" you gotta keep going, and the characters have to chat a little or cry or think about how horrible they are or something and then you kinda don't know when to end that either so now you're 2k words in and you might have put too much self hatred and not enough sucking dick. so you wrap it up, and think well it's done now.
or sometimes you have it all perfect in your mind and you knock the whole thing out in 2 to 3 hours.
