I do not really have a headcanon for this! I think Beldaruit would take the time to explain Qifrey everything that is ok to talk about for his age. I think it would be very irresponsible from Beldaruit to give a book and thinks it is enough. Clearly the role of a master is not only about teaching magic, but also to be a trusted guardian for their student. He is a patient teacher, he has to be ok with talking about things that are sensitve and awkward. If he acts as it is the weirdest thing ever, then Qifrey would freak out. Or he'd feel bad for being curious. Which is NOT what Beldaruit wants. And I think he would not talk about Qifrey relationship with Olly during that talk. It would only block Qifrey. And sex isn't only when you have romantic feelings toward someone. Plus I think it would give more angst to teenager Qifrey than anything else, as he can not feel safe for his own good. Maybe he'd believes he would never deserve such thing due to his curse. I personnaly think Qifrey didn't explore his sexuality that much (but he still explored it by himself, imo)! However a friend shared a pretty interesting headcanons about their Qifrey exploring his sex life more like a body need than an emotional one.

I think this manga is absolutely stunning in the art style obviously, composition pages and also thanks to its writing! There are many moments where the text is really beautiful and powerful!! Kamome Shirahama really knows when to use text over their art, in my opinion. So this manga is absolutely stunning in every way.

Of course we all admire the stunning art, but the text is as beautiful too!

hmm I do not really care about size as I change them depending how I want my story telling to be! It is something I learned to do when I studied animation during college. But I am pretty sure there is an official size chart.

If I remember correctly Belda doesn’t truly know about it, but what would happen if he did? Would he try to help or? Because the only probable way to undo the silver tree infection is forbidden magic and I doubt Belda would go that route.

Would he feign ignorance and hope Qifrey dies naturally instead of being transformed into a tree?

One of my HCs is that Beldaruit is aware of Qifrey's curse since his second trial! Which doesnt completely fits with how he is acting around Qifrey in canon... I am pretty sure my HC is BS. lol. But I like to imagine that both of them worked on how to keep Qifrey alive, so for that Beldaruit had to promise to never find a cure. which is a very hard promise to keep (I would have not kept it, haha). Beldaruit suggested to Qifrey to become a master when Qifrey's solo adventures weren't a success, as he knows how worrisome the task can be. And Beldaruit accepted multiple students under Qifrey's care knowing it would be good for the kids AND Qifrey. But Coco was the last straw as Beldaruit no longer thought it was safe for Qifrey (and Coco). I also imagine that thinking Qifrey can only be saved by forbidden magic, he also told him to go after the brimmed hats, as his magic won't help.

Aww i am glad you like them!! I didn't think people would be interested in my sketches tbh! But if some are, my starting price would be 70EUR for two characters (50EUR for one) half-body.

Beldaruit and Qifrey relationship is quite interesting! I love that Qifrey was a very traumatised kid who did not fit in and he did not follow the rules (in a world where witches love rigidity and codes), and he grew up so much since! He is still messed up, but he is taking his responsabilities when he is being called out. And he would not have become this kind person without Beldaruit. I wish we could have seen them without all this tension around Coco. I adore how is he a little gremlin with his master, but I do believe they had a lot of gentle moments as well. It is hard to fully understand how far Qifrey can be ok with comfort, as he sometimes handle it well and sometimes it is a big "NOPE". But I assume since the root is reset, he can handle way more affection and comfort than once he is an adult. As the roots are now much bigger and are only waiting to pop-out.

I didn't have time to read it yet as my free time is mostly for drawing lately :) I wish i could read and draw at the same time, but i have to choose between those two. And I drew a lot lately, so i am also very exhausted emotionally. It is a joy to draw these characters, but it requires time and energy.

And i do not draw for fics that often. I want to draw my own ideas first. I prefer to focus on my patreon as it is my only source of income.

I don't like feeling forced to draw a fanart, and there are many fics I absolutely love, and I won't draw anything from them as I don't have the time or energy for it. It doesn't mean my love for these fics is not real. I do love them and read them over and over again. I even feel very guilty for not leaving comments, and i really want to take the time for that. I think leaving nice comments is more important for the authors than drawing a fanart.

So I draw fanarts for fics very, very randomly and very spontaneously! So do not expect fanarts every time you share a fic with me. 🥹 Even drawing doodles takes time and energy. I adore fic recommendations, but i wouldn't like being pressured to draw something all the time 🙈! This removes a lot of fun for me.
