Hot take?

I thought I should share. A week before Christmas I got fired (company contract didn't renew). Having started just 5 mos. ago AND having moved to a new city AND having just bought a car, needless to say, I was super depressed and devastated, Started applying like mad, fixed my LinkedIn, revamped my resume, etc. I landed a job with the company replacing ours, and THEN I landed a job offering me 20K more than my last job. Just don't people struggling with job hunting to lose hope!

I’m actually done, I refuse to read a book with a female character in it written by a man over 40. I never thought I would ever had to read the phrase “she had D cup guts, but a trainer bra brain”

So apparently this is from a dialogue where a soldier is describing a woman. In which case, it makes sense that a character from a story could be summed up rightfully as an idiot when he says something like this. Not sure if it reflects badly on the writer in that sense.
