I was on a walk and I don't know if someone else has done this, but but a Kagehina AU where Kageyama is royalty in a kingdom and Hinata is a peasant in said kingdom who's trying to get into a higher social class and things just go from there and the rest of the karasuno team comes in- Like Sugawara gets to mom them around and Daichi- okay just the thought of this is actually amazing. And the Aces all have a prominent role in society so everyone knows them
Or Kageyama is in the palace but the Ace (so Asahi) rules and all the other teams are the other kingdoms. They've all been at war with each other at some point in time and Karasuno's kingdom is facing another war from Nekoma (as an example) so somehow the team gets roped together and somehow all the ships get together in the middle of it. Points if there's a enemy to lover thrown in and no one knows about them being together till the last minute. More points if someone (Kenma since he's so quiet maybe?) from an opposing kingdom infiltrates Karasuno's so people turn on each other and they end up catching but letting the person go because of morals. There's plot twists and all included as well that's hard to see coming
I just completely ranted... At this point I somehow crafted a whole AU and might as well write it but I'd need help and almost none of my friends know anything about haikyuu π
