i wish i could have hyperfixations without having the intense, physically painful shame and embarrassment that go hand-in-hand with them. being so into something and anticipating something so hard that it feels like youre literally on a roller coaster is amazing, but feeling like youre a complete loser who gets helplessly obsessed with the most nonsensical, meaningless, inconsequential things… really, really sucks
