I don't think we as a fandom have fully processed the implications surrounding the names of the Transylians, Anur Transyl, and Lord Transyl yet. Either the Transylians and their planet used to go by different names and they were changed to be named after their oppressor, or Transyl's name was given to him to embody his future rule over the Transylian people. I'm inclined to think it's the latter because I'm sure the Transylians would've changed their planet and species names back by now, but regardless, either possibility is messed up.
