Parris Island. 

This value painting and environment suit dude were part of an assignment for my Schoolism class. TLDR: Some anomalous entities showed up, broke the planet, and now everyone has to live underground or be in these suits to survive. I was inspired by stories from the SCP Foundation and Simon Stalenhag's work.

Head Studies.

This was my first time painting from greyscale to full color. Made a lot of design changes along the way and learned a lot from working on this, had to bust a looot of rust. I'm stoaked with the progression from 7 years ago when she started as a watercolor painting. Head studies from this past week. 

It's been a while, but I'm back in the game!  I have an affinity for making useless stormtrooper-esque characters from various shows appear more lethal and competent than they're given credit for.  I loved the 90s series Swat Kats when I was a kid, and I always thought the Enforcers looked cool even though they sucked.  This is my take on how their task forces dress up for the boogaloo.  Check out my Instagram @KRSatterwhite_Art for the step by step.

I’ve originally planned to design her armor based off the in-game battle sprite… But then I thought what kind of clothing she trains in, or what her royal guard garb would look like on the usual when she’s not out hunting children. There's also the matter of all those weapons she has lying about, she’s gotta use SOME of em, right?

Just got finished with Undertale and that game is brilliant! I just had to give the best character some love! Got my monster drawing in just in time for the end of Halloween :D
