Cheerleader Vienna!! 🩷 (Space Jam)
What If Vienna Was In Space Jam As A Cheerleader And Member Of The Tune Squad? Well, find out here! 💜😉
[Art Drawn By - ConfettiCrasher On Insta]
"So there's a lot of lore when it comes to Vienna and her creation basically if she were to exist in the Real World for her roles in the Looney Tunes Movies like Space Jam, Back In Action, ect. Alright so during the 90s era when Warner Bros were doing commercials and ads featuring Michael Jordan, Bugs Bunny and the other LT Characters not soon afterwards production and planning began on a Movie featuring MJ and Bugs Bunny which eventually became Space Jam as we all know! Jenna was drawn and created sometime around the time the original Space Jam (1996) was being created and worked on. While Lola was being created as the first female toon another toon was being worked on and developed that being Vienna since the team wanted to give Lola another female friend to bounce off of and be friends with along with showing the healthy and great side of female friendships and eventually slowly came the creation of Vienna. Now while in the film she didn't get much screentime mostly serving as a cheerleader of the Tune Squad since she couldn't really play with everyone else in the basketball game due to her size and the risk of her getting hurt easily during the game. She was still cute enough to get merchandise and would get some appearances here and there afterwards at least."
"Both on and off set and especially during Space Jam, both she and Tweety mostly had a will they/won't they sorta dynamic basically had a puppy love romance. Both clearly had a liking to one another but were too shy to say much or confess their feelings for one another, although Vienna isn't exactly very quiet about her obvious feelings and care for the yellow canary."

Space Jam Ramblings
I don't know if this is a hot take or not, but I like the characterization of the toons better in Space Jam: A New Legacy more than the original Space Jam. I'd still say that Space Jam is still a bit more enjoyable for me than its sequel overall. The original has marginally better pacing and isn't afraid to not take itself too seriously, which makes the experience slightly more preferable to me. But some of the toons in the original Space Jam are really out of character for the majority of the run, with the exception of Lola (since she made her debut in the film). It felt a bit more like a lot of the Looney Tunes characters could just be replaced with "Generic Wacky Cartoon Character" without much of a fuss. I understand that Michael Jordan is supposed to be the main character and straight man to the madness or whatever, but I just think it would be so much better if they leaned more into the distinct characteristics that each of the Toons are known for a bit more. Space Jam: A New Legacy, while still being a complete trainwreck in my opinion, did the pre-established characters a lot more justice than the original Space Jam. The characterization still isn't spot on or whatever, but each character felt a lot more like themselves than in the original Space Jam. Specifically, I feel like they did really well with Daffy. He was mainly based on his Chuck Jones characterization but with some fun screwball moments that still felt in character. Another example is Bugs. I felt he was generally more chill in the sequel which felt truer to his character to me. His style of humor was in general, less of just, "wacky random cartoon" and felt more like the sly, slightly smug rabbit we all know and love. There were some moments that still felt a bit off, don't get me wrong, but they felt slightly more earned considering that their characterization was more solid for the majority of the film. It felt more like a deliberate choice about how they wanted to present the character rather than just doing the bare minimum. In a universe where they decided to focus on the Toons more in a New Legacy, I might have actually preferred the film overall to the original. But sadly, the more accurate characterization of the Looney Tunes is nothing more than a highlight in an otherwise less entertaining movie. Also, they did Marvin so fucking dirty in a New Legacy. He did not deserve such little screen time
