trying to be #kindtomyself by accepting my #developmentaldisability by recognizing that today is not going to be a productive day work wise and that it’s okay to just not work today and put in my hours tomorrow instead but it. So embarrassing

I think the main thing I struggle with this is 1 how weird this behavior probably looks to my colleagues and I don’t wanna be perceived as a weirdo #baggage and 2 it does make me worried for when I will eventually need to hold down a full time job and whether that will even be possible for me. but I hope a normal full time schedule with more tasks and responsibilities and more of an established routine will make things easier than this weird “I can work literally whenever the fuck I want” stuff

it's literally the evilest thing in the world to finally have time to write but then be tired. like wow you're telling me these two hours before going to bed are completely free but my brain is just Not Feeling It? fuck off

I actually love the Louis and Regina subplot because it really is a continuation of the way Louis has always treated women, as a source of emotional labour that he can throw money at and have them make him feel better. It’s Miss Lily all over again, it’s “paying a whore to sit in a room and talk with him”. Making Claudia was always about Louis’ feelings under the pretence of saving her from the fire. He wants to save Regina from poverty but it’s all to make himself feel better. She sees through him but she’s so broke that she can’t afford to say no

just saw a pigeon doing the puffed up courtship dance thing to another pigeon, and as he was strutting around he suddenly stopped for a split second to do a very brief preen-peck at his own side, then returned to the strutting around. and i surprised myself by instantly losing respect for the male pigeon in that moment, like come on man i appreciate you had an itch or whatever but how is she supposed to feel special when you're getting distracted by bullshit like that? which on reflection i don't endorse, i mean those are pretty harsh dating norms i'm imposing on these pigeons, from a total outsider perspective, for no reason. probably not all girl pigeons are as uptight about that sort of thing as i would apparently be if i was a girl pigeon, maybe she even found it endearing who knows, i don't know her. it's none of my business really. sorry pigeons.
