Season 1 Varian will always be my favourite, he’s very special to me. There are so many cool things about him and his little arc that have driven me crazy for… 3 years next month !😵‍💫 He’s doomed by the narrative, he’s completely understandable, he is definitely unhinged. He’s terrifyingly competent, he’s a fourteen year old in the middle of a breakdown, he’s a vigilante terrorist, he just wants his dad back- yeah alright I could go on for a long while. The brain worms are so loud.

I know that we mostly view varigo as jdronica, but hey, i get why varian is veronica, but hugo as jd? uh... I mean varian is the one who tried to turn Corona into Vietnam, not Hugo. jdronica is more like varian x varian. Hugo would be personally offended if Var would see him like JD.

Right when Eugene is completing his transformation from swashbuckling outlaw to righteous hero, Maximus goes from being a rigid stick-in-the-mud Javert to chaotic good vigilante, busting a notorious career criminal out of prison on their execution day.
