and I had actually thought recently about the ol' "fletcher would benefit from having a dog" thing, and how fletcher gets anxious going into crowded places, even grocery stores. they would probably be a good match for a ptsd service dog, but I can imagine someone suggesting that and them being like, "Yeah, but as soon as someone confronts me about it, or tries to touch the dog, or asks why I need it, we're going to have Bigger Issues."

(also I should specify the dog was not jumping up in an alert way, it was barking and whining loudly and jumping up for pets)
