FDNASF DW ANON ILY but!!! its a bit complex to explain so bear with me as i try to english this one up

basically the knight is. an amalgamate. or rather, an amalgamation. i dont think LITERALLY, nor i think its an actual character. the knight is more of an idea, a mix of every character's fear, guilt, grief. or maybe every character who is directly involved with it, who's fighting it, who knows about it. so technically that's why the Dess-isms are there: Kris ( and maybe Carol, if she actually knows about the Knight??? ) sees in the knight the friend they lost. that's why the knight seemingly dances during its fight, thats why the sword seems shaped like a baseball bat the first time it brings it out, thats why it has deer-like horns. and while the group's defeat is partially because Kris may or may not work with it, but also because RALSEI thinks the Knight is unbeatable. finding the Knight = bringing the Roaring. finding the Knight = the Prophecy is true. Ralsei truly believes he has no saying, and that's why the knight is unbeatable as long as he thinks that you cant rewrite the Prophecy. or has any choice when it comes to his fate.

and!!i!!!!!think all of that because the Knight's attacks in ch4, when you go up the stair as soon as you get the stairs before meeting with Ralsei, the Knight's attack remind me a lot of Undyne's when you run away from her in the Waterfalls, in Undertale. pointing the sword where you are, waiting a moment, and then striking down. it's different from the version in its bossfight in ch3, iirc it even has the same soundfont but its been a while since i played ch4 so i dont remember really </3 and the Knight now has that power because Susie feel guilty for being unable to save Undyne, or for Kris to be more or less directly involved in her disappearence.

But the similarities you pointed out with ch 4. Only we can see these, there's no magic in Light World, nor Susie or Kris could see more than fee spears thrown before she was taken. There are spears also all around Undyne when we can see her, either because it was new to her, or she tried to assess where she was in the pure darkness.

Go to your account settings, and scroll down to "content you see".
