Framing “girl” and “boy” as separate genders from “woman” and “man” is such an amazing take. it’s a framework that accommodates and explains so many trans experiences. Some trans people never were their AGAB. Some feel like they were their AGAB, but that that changed (usually when puberty hits, which is when you start “becoming a man/woman”. The accepted societal path is that girls grow up to into women, and boys grow up into men. But some girls grow up into men, and some boys grow up into women. This guy was a boy who grew up into a man, which generally works out pretty well for people. Some boys and girls grow up into people who aren’t men or women, even! It’s like this random cis guy skipped right over transgender 101, 102, 201, etc. and stumbled directly into Transgender Nirvana.
Gotta love when you learned how to be a human by imitating the way your favorite characters acted as a kid since you had no humans to socialize with, but then people made fun of you for it and called you a poser and a parrot, so now anytime you think you might be acting at all similar to any fictional character you try to stop it and you hate yourself and doubt you're even a real person with any actual personality besides whatever you've absorbed from cartoons, but also you have so many fandoms that almost everything reminds you of A Character so you're almost always in that impostor syndrome state because everything you do makes you think "is this actually what I'm like as a person or am I just a fucking parrot," and especially when you're already having genuine bad feelings and then what you do or say because of your bad feelings reminds you of A Character and then you feel like your problems and emotions aren't real after all and you're just once again parroting what you saw someone on the damn TV do and you don't deserve sympathy and you need to shut up and stop making your problems visible because your reactions and feelings aren't fucking real and you don't deserve to be perceived at all if you're not your own person
BONUS POINTS if it was already something you would commonly do or say before The Character did it but now that The Character has done it it reminds you of them and makes you feel fake even though you did it first

Actually real as fuck. I've been to my city's Pride, and I love my community and I love my city and I love Pride Month but GOD did I have a bad time. Half of it was businesses handing out advertisements because "we support Them Queers so you should buy our shit" and the other half was Sex Stuff and Drug Stuff. I'm talking about hyperrealistic dick- and pussy-shaped lollipops, loud vendors selling t-shirts with slogans about cunnilingus, TONS of weed leaf pride flags, people walking around in full BDSM gear in front of kids, etc... hell, they had a food truck. For weed. A WEED FOOD TRUCK. The entire place smelled horrible. Honestly, the best part of the day was getting bitten by a Canada Goose. And the only other Pride thing in my area was a book stand highlighting LGBTQ+ children's books in the children's section of my local public library.
Ironically, only the completely child-friendly book stand was shut down by local government conservatives...

Anyone who does not want to build peace between our brethren (who worship the same God, just differently!) is not a true follower of Christ. We have differences, but that is not an excuse for hatred and division! And why the hell shouldn't Mass be available in languages people understand??? If it was always in Latin, only people who have the time and resources to go out of their way to learn it would truly understand the words being said. Way less people would really be hearing the Word. Way less people would connect to it. These guys are just mad that times change and white Catholic men aren't seen as superior anymore and the Church is actively trying to, y'know, REFORM and do better after its history. God knows it has had a bad place in history.
