Gigi was now the same age that Amy was the first time Vanilla had marked her height on the doorframe of the upstairs back room. (Amy reflects on her childhood, and subsequently, the childhood she has been able to give her daughter.)

Honestly, some of these prompts this year gave me a bit of trouble. I initially didn’t know what to do for Height Differences one or Fake Dating. However, it is very fun to sort of… bend the words of a prompt juuuuust before the point of breaking.

Gigi the Parakeet is a character my friend Lambpaca and I came up with. She is the adopted daughter of Shadow and Amy.
