do y'all remember when people started doing "prev tags" on this site & some people started going full old man yells at cloud moral panic about it. i feel like now we've settled into a pretty good equilibrium, people haven't stopped adding tags to a post but rather "prev tags" is a way of engaging with other tags while staying in the sotto voce of how tags are used on this site. but its just funny to me & i think is a reminder that people on this site are very often very eager to engage in that kind of New Thing Bad (And It's Children's Fault) behavior

yes being marginalised in any way does increase your vulnerability to risk of being harmed without meaningful consequences for the perpetrator and that's grossly unfair + abuse is primarily about power and control but if you are a human being with a body there is no sufficient social condition you can achieve that makes you immune to being taken advantage of

idk i just think implying that if you're marginalised you should expect to be abused and that nobody else could possibly understand your struggle or support you in fighting back is maybe not as progressive as some of you seem to think it is

Even the Deltarune guy started off making Undertale stuff
