”Thanks-” When Daud commented on the name, he smiled proudly. Every since he’d met Daud, Cassidy had always looked up to him. Daud was a man who had his shit together and then some, while the only good things Cassidy had were in this house…and he wasn’t really allowed around.

 “Oh, an’ I hope so. Honestly, she’s a damn fine woman. I keep fuckin’ things up. But, there’s no surprise there, eh, sir?”

     He couldn’t help but smile in response. Maybe some things haven’t changed but to Daud, Cassidy has changed. A lot. It was for the better too. Even if he has ‘fucked things up’. “I guess not.” He responded, thinking maybe he should actually tell Cassidy his feelings. 

     Daud put his hand on his youngest’s shoulder. “Proinsias... You’ve changed so much, have grown into a fine young man and I’m proud of you. I want you to that...” Before I die Daud thought to himself.

  Billie’s reaction caused him to smile lightly, something he doesn’t do very often. Having just gotten a big payday put him in a good mood. So he decided that everyone in his gang could take it easy for the rest of the day. “I mean it, Billie. You of all people are the most deserving of this.” Daud put his hand on her shoulder, letting her know he truly meant it. “Go out and have some fun.”

He set down his cigar and went over to Daud, motioning for him to stand up.

  “Don’t get used to it.” For once, a trickster managed to make Daud smirk. The assassin wouldn’t admit it openly but he was alright with Anansi calling him a friend and honestly didn’t mind this Tiger nickname. With that thought, Daud put his cigar down on an ashtray and stood up. Normally Daud would’ve refused but he didn’t want to seem rude to his new friend. “I hear your the best at your craft. I appreciate this.”
