"Heeeeeeeey sweet thing!" You could hear the little hoot from across the store as he bounded over, shit you knew you shouldn't have gotten a job at a diner. It was one of those 'middle class' diners, that was how the place was labelled by everyone in town. Meaning Greasers still came in all the time, just not the roughest of them

Which meant the second Two-Bit got even a hint of an idea you might be working at that diner, it was kinda over for you. You'd known he'd been crushing on you, you just didn't know he'd been the come into your work to bother you type of deep into said crush on you

You walked forwards and shook your head, looking back at Two-Bit with this look that said 'really?' and he just smiled and took the closest booth "Aww, this is where I'm seated huh? Already ordering me around and we ain't even married yet!" The way he said yet made you sigh, what's worse is he was cute

With that stupid stupid dorky grin, god you despised the fact this might actually be attractive to you. Despised the fact this conversation was making you more and more sold on Two-Bit and his idiocy "What would you like to order?"

Two-Bit hums "Dunno" and you lean forward with this mocking "Huh?" and a headshake as you clicked your pen "Did I hear fries and a coke?" and Two-Bit seems completely tickled by this, his smile even wider if that's even possible

"You know me so well toots! Thanks for deciding, I get reaaaaaal indecent" He says with a grin and you pause "Indecisive?" You question with an eyebrow raise and he waves his hand "same thing" (headcanon that Two-Bit confidently uses the wrong words and doubles down on them, who's with me)

"God" You groaned with this little head tip back and sigh and Two-Bit just raises a brow and purses his lips mockingly "Yes my child?" And you shake your head almost at your wits end with him at this point

"Just get outta here!" You said simply with an exasperated look and Two-Bit grinned and hummed, toying with a salt shaker on his table "I will then" he watches the hope fill your eyes before you're crushed by his added "on one condition" he says with this grin

And you just give a little nod "come on, what is it?" You question with your head cocked to the side, giving him this completely blank look and he smiles "you'd have to kiss me to get me out of this diner" and your eyes widen "you aren't serious"

"I aint" Two-Bit mocks before shaking his head and waving his hand "my offer stands, otherwise I ain't leaving. No dice, no luck" he says with this grin knocking over that same salt shaker that he'd been toying with "and you aren't joking? If I kiss you you'll go" he nods in agreement "mhm I'll leave this diner"

You scrunch your face in mock disgust, you supposed he was cute. Well, charmingly funny too somewhat nice as well even if he was a bit of a dickhead "fine" you lean down and you give Two-Bit a quick peck on the cheek and he beams like life in him just got fully restored

He leaps up and you swat at him "Come on then! Out out out!" You usher him to the door to which he happily goes, bounding on out with the brightest smile you've ever seen on his face (if that was even possible, he's always grinning like the Cheshire cat)

And he stands outside the door, you immediately start briskly walking away. He stayed lingering at the large window in the wall out the front, grinning in. You glance back and you hear his muffled shouting with it, furrowing your brows
