my name is khara, and i'm 22 and i use she/they pronouns !! i'm from the mississippi gulf coast ! i'm also extremely queer and have been with my fiancée for almost 5 years now ! women, love them; men, love them; anything in between? yeah i love you too, get over it :)))

i'm a uni senior ((beavers give a dam iykyk), and i'm a linguistic and cultural anthropology major !! my primary focus is on how culture causes linguistic patterns to develop over time and how that affects sociopolitical and socioeconomical structures within communities and marginalized groups !! (this changes all the time, but i do particularily love this aspect of linguistics besides obvious linguistic evolution hehe !) i also love studying languages and have an extensive list of fluencies (primarily french and spanish are my most comfy to use, but i do know russian, italian, german, kazakh, macedonian, latin, japanese, some korean, some serbian, and a little bit of arabic)

i am also an indie author !! i published my debut (poetry collection written from the ages of 8-17) on sept 2nd of 2024 ! i'm currently working on some romances, one being sports romance ! i can't wait to share more on this later, i'm really excited for the world i've created around some really down bad soccer/football players ! this being said, i really love books, and typically try to aim for 50 books read per year as a lil goal !

speaking of footballlll, i'm an avid lover of premier league, specifically arsenal fc and the occassional dalliance into liverpool :)) gotta have a fine mixture of COYG and YNWA hehe they've been my clubs since i last played footie as a kiddo, so i enjoy them quite a bit!

i'm currently in an interview with the vampire hyperfixation, but i do love all sorts of other fandoms, as well! i enjoy hannibal, bones, dexter, law and order, once upon a time, merlin, btvs, and probably a few more that i completely forgot about. i typically watch the same things over and over hehe, but i can proudly say that my two favourite disney movies is tangled and princess and the frog. i was and still am a theatre kid at heart.

i enjoy music like a fiend, every minute of every day !! i really like sleep token, raleigh ritchie, hozier, visual kei (as a genre), and basically everything under the sun. if it sounds cool to me i'll listen to it even if i don't understand the language. i like funky lil noise waves they give dopamine.

i also really like foxes, cats, dogs, and bees. i am partial to my dogs though by default, those lil babies are the best.

as for my mental state, i'm a little bit insane. i have dissociative identity disorder, bpd, audhd, and severe ptsd. i can make seperate posts on that for a later day, but it does affect my value of self quite often so if i do go mia, that is most likely the reason ! never feel afraid to check in on me either, i promise to not be mean :))

i'm severely socially anxious, however i do feel safe here, more so than i have on other sites like twitter or instagram, so that is extremely nice, especially as its like a little diary in a way. i'm a yapper with an extreme fear of being judged, but mmm y'all haven't been mean to me so i'll give it a fair shot, just give me a fair shot in return, i really hope to make some friends :)) !! nowwwww for the long awaited face reveal!! please be nice i might cry if you aren't, i've gots confidence issues :((( and yes I do typically take selfies from this angle it’s an issueeeee
