Its self‑explanation doesn’t actually clarify anything — it just opens up more questions it never bothers to resolve, and then it ends without giving you a real conclusion or even a clear reason for the journey. The A24‑style aesthetic is definitely there, and it adds some texture, but it’s not enough to carry the film
