No, they also lie down, though generally they tend to do it in (safe) places where they don’t get mistaken for a dead horse lol. Though they tend to nap standing up rather more often than actually lying down, in my experience, esp when they’re out and about. Unlike humans, they only have to lie down to rest for a little bit. A horse like that slap-bang in the middle of the paddock is not exactly something I would expect, unless there are other horses (i.e. the horsewatch) around. That is one VERY comfortable horse.
