How do you feel about artistic interpretation of your characters (how far one could go from the source) //specifically the furryness scale of Kage.

Honestly i havent really thought about it so great question!! As of right now when it comes to designs i wouldnt really mind if someone wanted to do their own thing, i'd only really ask that if you were to alter their designs a few specific details be kept like for Aglo his hairtie since its relevant to his story. (For Kage i think the main details i'd absolutely like to be kept is his orange glasses & haircolour)

As for specifically the furryness of Kage im lowk not fully sure if thats meant as "how much fur he has" or like that one doggirl scale "how much of a furry is he" but either way i wouldnt mind it being changed!! Human or tiger i'll love him either way.

Overal i honestly think it would be really cool to see how other people would choose to design my characters in their own style. I'd say keep as much of the design as you can, but if you would prefer to change something to make it more fun to draw, easier, or to let it better translate into your own unique style, thats fine to do.

I AM curious what this is about tho lol.

(When it comes to being lore compliant i really wouldnt care the slightest bit if it has nothing to do with the character's lore, while it is very cool to see something that's part of their lore, its not like i personally only draw lore stuff either. Infact i rarely do, so youre absolutely allowed to let the characters do things that would never happen in their actual lore. Maybe just not things that are the complete opposite of what happens in their lore. Last year one of my friends drew Aglo and one of their own ocs fighting the roaring knight on deltarune for an artfight attack and i still absolutely love that attack lol)

There was a small bit in my art theory exam about intertextuality and i couldnt stop thinking about fandom

#my exams were a month ago but i just now remembered #kenny says things #obviously because fanworks are inherently based on a canon #but also the connectedness between fanworks themselves like when someone writes a fic based on a piece of fanart #i had phm on the mind that day #thinking about intertextuality in fandom during art theory exam #then switching to the concept of fundamental untranslatability for my philosphy exam right after #cuz i watched phm in cinema and all i could think abt when they first started using the translation was #how tf r u so sure these translations are correct #cuz i had seen the theory of fundamental untranslatability by Quine like a week or so prior #it was a great scene but i was thinking about rabbits like yeah okay #i promise you that makes sense if you know the theory its a common example of the theory in a practical sense #okay i started this post talking abt intertextuality in fandom now im talking about rabbits #man im gonna miss my art theory & philosphy teacher (same guy)#ok bye #txt post
