I use colored lineart with my pieces to make each one a unique and cohesive color story. If you would prefer I work in black, let me know!
Paint Spatter Lineart will come with a white background or paint roller color of your choice. You are free to choose the color of the lineart, but I might need to adjust it to make it visible on the background. A contrasting splotch of paint can draw attention to a specific part of the drawing: say, as a ball of magic, a piece of jewelry, the eyes, ect. Â
Minimalist Portraits come with a flat colored background in a bright color, because I use the background as a highlight. Youâre welcome to choose any color, but know it might not end up with the same pop as the examples if I have to adjust my technique.
Soft Shade Portraits use a painting technique with colored lineart. The background can be flat or painted. Depending on the references you give me, the style can vary. If youâd like me to lean more towards realism, send me references of real live human faces.
Extras: I charge for backgrounds that place your character in a setting. For couples, I draw no further than the waist unless a full body is requested. For a simple full body piece of a couple, youâll only pay that charge once. So, say youâve requested a minimalist picture of Sasuke down on one knee, proposing to Naruto. You poor sweet thing. Itâs never going to happen. But I fulfill your fantasy by charging you full body ($10) + extra character ($5) + the base price ($28) of your piece. For 3+ characters and more complex requests including but not limited to detailed costumes, weapons, difficult posing, I adjust pricing as necessary to reflect time spent on research.
When you contact me, please have your references and ideas ready for me. If I donât know your character because theyâre of your own making, I may have questions about what kind of person they are. If you come prepared with descriptions and/or quick tales of their exploits, Iâll form a vision much quicker. I like to get excited about my pieces, so donât be afraid to tell me how cool your character is! Once I have all the information, Iâll give you a price and an estimated time of completion. If you would like to approve the sketch, this may add additional time on top of my estimation.
I accept payment through Paypal, and will request you give me the email associated with your account so I can send you an invoice. Let me know prior to payment if you would like to be involved with approving the sketch. I begin work immediately after the payment is processed.
Finished products are final. If you need to cancel at any point prior to delivery of the final piece, I will give partial refund and you may receive the lineart or sketch I have so far. If you have a very specific image of your character in your head, I would strongly suggest you elect to approve the sketch so I can tweak it. I want you to enjoy your piece, so if I have made a grievous error, e.g: Your character Drakke Bleakheart Darkbloodâs ravenfeather cloak of +5 darkness is colored pink, please let me know.
Once your piece is done, I will email you the true size image and may post it on my tumblr and/or deviantart. Itâs all yours! Feel free to post it on your own blog, use it as a background, or print it out, draw mustaches on it and use it as a dartboard. Please link or tag me in the post to let people know where you got your piece from.
