actually fucking insane that badgerfang dying horribly on the battlefield and the other kits praising his death as a great honour was only used to show that ‘brokenstar is so evil and the kits are innocent little babies!’ and not to show how horrific the effects of extreme patriotism can be on youth in times of war. how scary it is to tell your child that dying for the state is more honourable than living a fulfilling life.
